The prosecution states what they believe was Tyler Robinson's motive to shoot and kill Charlie Kirk, saying his views were "repugnant" to Robinson's lifestyle. They are arguing for the targeted person enhancement which is needed for an aggravated murder charge and to pursue the death penalty if TR is convicted. #CharlieKirk KUTV2news

This is a five story building— four floors have tenants. The most impacted area is the top floor. Fire officials have not identified a cause. When they arrived, there was smoke coming through the trash chute. But, they can’t say yet if that’s where the fire started or if the fire was using that chute to expel smoke. No firefighters in the building right now — in defense mode attacking from four ladders. The roof has collapsed across much of the building. KUTV2news

An SLC ride share driver followed all the Lyft guidelines for returning a left-behind wallet. When he met with the passenger to hand over the item, things escalated seemingly out of nowhere. The passenger began punching him several times through his open window. The driver managed to roll up the window and drive off after 7 hits. The suspect has not been arrested. KUTV2news

An Eagle Mountain resident woke up to a hot mess this morning after two masked vandals left a dozen raw hot dogs around their truck, in their front porch, and near their garage. He said hot dogs were stuffed into his driver side running boards and smeared over the back windshield. His door was also scratched. One looks to be wearing a gas mask and the other looks like a knight’s helmet. Very bizarre situation. Take a look 👇🏽 KUTV2news

Salt Lake City council approved an ordinance change that could slow or block development of a warehouse into an ICE detention facility by limiting water usage. A water rights attorney explained that this is within the municipality’s jurisdiction, granted by state law. If the state wanted to intervene, they’d have to change state law in a special session.
