#SaveSnuggles Update I'll be spending much of today working behind the scenes to bring media attention to Snuggles' story. One thing I want supporters to understand is that a lot of advocacy work doesn't happen on social media. While posts and shares are VERY IMPORTANT, there are also phone calls, emails, media outreach, interviews, press materials, conversations with reporters, and other efforts happening behind the scenes that most people never see. For those who are just learning about Snuggles: Snuggles is a 2-year-old livestock guardian dog belonging to a military veteran and his family in Tucson, Arizona. He lives with his mom, dad, and two young boys who love him dearly. Following a first-time bite incident on his own property, Snuggles was taken from his family and has now spent nearly 8 months in a shelter. His family has been charged more than $15,000 in boarding fees while fighting to save him. The bite victim was the children's grandmother, and she is actively supporting Snuggles and asking that he be returned home. Despite all of this, Snuggles is facing a court ordered euthanasia. We thought we could trust her but we finally rolled back video footage from our security cameras and saw this. She has been screaming at my dogs for over a year and who knows what other kind of mental abuse on my poor dogs. My 13-year-old Yorkie had severe anxiety and colitis. My house had dog feces in my living room. Everywhere. Urine in my house. Food stains on my sofa. My kitchen was a pigsty. My neighbor referred her. And my neighbor and I are good friends. So, I assumed she was good. We thought she was. But we are heartbroken for our senior dogs going through this. While retrieving #SaveHachi, the treatment he received was completely unacceptable. Omar with the Rosenberg shelter refused to allow LaDonna inside the kennel to properly leash her own dog, making an already stressful situation even worse. In the video, he can be seen pushing the kennel door against Hachi’s neck, behavior that appears to provoke a reaction rather than safely handle the situation. Pet sitter caught on camera abusing customer’s dog in Michigan 😡🐾 A shocking video out of Warren is sparking fury online after a pet sitter was caught on camera repeatedly kicking and slapping a 6-year-old dog named Frankie while screaming at him. Frankie’s owner says the dog thankfully did not suffer physical injuries, but says she was horrified by what she saw. She had reportedly used the same sitter four different times after finding her through Rover, where the sitter had positive reviews. Police in Michigan are now investigating. Authorities have not publicly released the sitter’s name at this time, but charges are possible. Rover released a statement saying the sitter’s account has been deactivated and that any other pets in her care were removed immediately.

😭💔 Grab your tissues. 💔😭 Bubba is lost after wandering away from home and is trying to find his way back to his person. When he came across his owner’s clothing, he sniffed them and cried. He knows his person is out there, but his owner is currently recovering from surgery and cannot reach him. Thankfully, Found A Hound Rescue has set up a feeding station nearby and is slowly moving it closer to a trap each day. Bubba is eating well and has already picked up on when food is coming. Today is an important step. His food will be placed right at the entrance of the trap. Let’s all pray Bubba goes inside so he can be safe and reunited with his family. 💔🐾

💔 A heartbreaking story out of Colorado… This weekend, Andrew Beckham, a member of the Colorado Air National Guard, says his worst nightmare became reality. While Andrew was deployed overseas last month, he trusted someone to watch his beloved husky, Maverick. Instead, he says that same man stole his car with Maverick inside. While Andrew was deployed overseas last month, he trusted someone to watch his beloved husky, Maverick. Instead, he says that same man stole his car with Maverick inside. Now, Maverick has been found dead. Andrew believes his dog may have suffered inside that vehicle for weeks. The pain in his voice during his interview is devastating, but he says he chose to speak out for a reason. He fears the man he trusted could still be offering house sitting or pet sitting services on other platforms. He was found days after the others, alone and without help. By the time he reached emergency care, he was battling parvo and sepsis, a devastating combination for a tiny puppy. Right now, Frosty remains in critical condition, surrounded by veterinarians doing everything they can to save him. He didn’t deserve this. None of them did. Remember Bubba, the dog who wandered away from his owner and sniffed his clothes and cried? 💔🐾 🚨 BUBBA UPDATE 🚨 Sound up to hear Bubba in the background barking for his breakfast. Found A Hound Rescue says he usually greets volunteers with tail wags and a little sass, but he still won’t get close enough for them to safely secure him. There has been some progress, with Bubba going halfway into the trap set by the rescue. On Tuesday afternoon, they attempted to trap him, but he wouldn’t fully commit to going all the way in. Since then, he has become a bit more hesitant again, so they have moved his food bowls closer to the entrance to help rebuild his confidence. They will be heading out again with his owner, hoping Bubba recognizes him and that this finally brings everything to an end. Please be patient. Found A Hound Rescue is doing everything possible, but with a flight-risk dog, it has to happen on his terms. Praying he’s safe and home soon. 🙏🐾💔

Bucky is such a sweet boy, and despite everything he’s been through, he still just wants love. 💔 He came into The City of Mobile (Alabama) Animal Services after suffering from terrible neglect. His skin condition was caused by fleas, was an easy fix, and is completely non-contagious. Watching him soak up affection in this video with Martin Miller just shows how badly he wants kindness and attention. Bucky is struggling in the kennel environment and would love a home where he can finally feel safe and loved. He’s only 8 months old, weighs 26 lbs, and gets along great with dogs, cats, and people. Let’s help this deserving boy find the loving home he’s been waiting for. 🐾 Adoption application link in the comments.
