Fortunately it was a nice sunny day upon which to enjoy admiring this broken down E-Type which was freshly purchased. My own fault, admittedly, for not paying attention to just how little it had done in recent times. The gamble didn't pay off this time. Still, can't complain really considering it was a relative bargain.

Spotted this a few times recently, but not managed to get a photo of it (or a video) until last night when parked up on Shenfield high street. Imagine how long it took to do all of those lights! 🤣

A poor old Silver Shadow spotted in Victoria, hopefully off somewhere to be saved. No surprise to see it on an overloaded beaver tail with no tax 👀

The sad result of a collision on the M25 yesterday. Fortunately the driver got out of the Iveco with minor injuries (and another driver had a broken leg, which was a miracle considering the state of his vehicle). The Dino wasn't quite so lucky, though.... hopefully the value of it means it'll be saved and repaired. It's not often I have to go out on a D&G Assist job, but with a multi-vehicle collision it becomes all hands on deck.

Spotting nice Mercedes 190e everywhere at the moment. Are they just the perfect small saloon car?

Here's the thread on my 2025 mileage and costs running (probably) too many old cars. This isn't the total mileage I've driven, just the mileage I've tracked in my own cars. That includes 3 trips into Europe, 7 countries and 11 cars that I've tracked figures for. The headline figures are 27,012 miles tracked, and £15,344.02 in parts costs. I haven't checked the figures for 2024 (though I may), but I'm quite sure it is less mileage.

Is there a better looking and better sounding Ferrari than a 355 for under £200k?

Nice to see the 7.0 litre Lister XJ40 again. I've not seen this car since 2018 at auction with Historics. Great to see it out on the road being used

Thanks to the lovely people at Iconic Auctioneers/Classic Car Auctions I've bought this Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. I would say it's an accident, but that would be stretching the truth somewhat. Can't say I wasn't very much tempted by that fun looking 4.6 litre SD1, either....

Joe Macari always turns up to the Southside Hustle in something cool. This time was a gorgeous DBS V8 with an excellent plate
