It’s incredibly dishonest to discuss immigration policy without acknowledging the human cost of halting deportations. While tragic incidents involving ICE often receive wall-to-wall coverage, I have never once seen a segment focused on covering stories about someone who entered the country illegally and then killed an American citizen. Just once, I’d like to see a segment on mainstream media that honestly shows the cost of allowing unvetted immigrants to remain — like Pennsylvania State Trooper Michael Pahira, who was killed after being struck by an illegal immigrant who had been issued a commercial driver’s license.

I can understand why wealthy people are on edge. When you constantly demonize successful people as the enemy, it isn't shocking when someone decides to act on it.

Elon Musk deserves every single penny he has made. And I hope he becomes the world’s first trillionaire. He’s using his wealth to help blind people see and paralyzed people walk. I’d rather that money stay in his hands than go to Elizabeth Warren, who’d likely see it wasted on fraud in Somalia or some other government boondoggle. Yes, he has a massive slice of the pie — but he’s made the entire pie dramatically bigger for everyone on Earth. That’s why we enjoy a higher quality of life than any civilization in human history. Capitalism isn’t just worth defending, it’s worth celebrating.
