1:05:11 I finished 1st 🥇 on my age group and 5th in the male category. I failed my ambitious goal of sub-60 but I was very happy with my race. And I have a nice goal to chase for the next few months. All the staff at the Hyrox venue knew us! I even talked to the manager of Hyrox Turkey/Dubai/Greece. His name his Mustafa and he let my wife inside the athlete zone to shot videos for our YouTube channel. It’s my first Hyrox and the energy is insane. Everybody is fit, sexy and topless. There’s a DJ and MC so it feels like a gym-club in Bali. No surprise this sport is growing so much! This little experiment is engraved in my head. The last 2 weeks have been surreal. Getting paid $112,000 to race, receiving a fancy car at my hotel lobby, getting recognized by a lot of people, my first race… so many things to process! When an agent is running in Codex, Pac-Man is eating 👾 and becomes all big and green 🤢 when the agent is done, so I know it's time to prompt again. On hover, the notch expands to show the list of running and completed threads. Edward Luo came up with a banger, and I think the Codex team should consider adding this natively because it's really nice 🤗

Tons of billboards ads for Vercel, PostHog, and AI startups - You can bump into anyone and start a conversation. Ppl are very friendly - Food is mediocre imho - It’s expensive AF. $10k/mo is just above survival - The tech grind is contagious. I just did my yearly V02 max test: 🫀 61.9 mL/kg/min It's 8% better than last year 🥳 and puts me in the top 5% of men my age. The test was on a treadmill, starting at 6 km/h. The speed increased by 2 km/h every 3 minutes. At each stage, the doctor stopped the treadmill for 15 seconds to take a blood sample from my finger and measure my lactate levels. I passed out at 22 km/h (~25 minutes). For the past 2 years, I've taken my fitness seriously: - Cardio 3-4x a week - Lifting 2-3x a week I was worried about losing muscle mass, which also matters for longevity, but I didn’t. In fact, I’ve gained almost 10 kg since last year. I’m now 84 kg at 181 cm, and I’m happy with that. My goal for next year is to improve my VO₂ max and get stronger without gaining more weight. New PR: 8 minutes 🎉 I realized it’s 50% muscle 50% mental. My shoulders are basically dead after 3 minutes and then it’s the little voice inside telling me to hold until {{goal}}. I don’t know if this one counts tho, because I lifted my elbows a few times and I wasn’t in proper form. Not an excuse but the floor was getting slippery. Anyway I’m Pretty proud of it!
