Climate models are projecting a historic surge in Pacific ocean temperatures! The newly updated CanSIPS model indicates the developing El Nino could reach a peak of +4.15°C! Water temperatures this warm would place us well into Super El Niño territory. An oceanic anomaly of this magnitude significantly redirects the jet stream across North America. Expect major ripple effects on upcoming fall and winter weather patterns across the country!

I rarely get emotional on stream, but yesterday, Jennifer shared a story that resonated deeply with me, and I know it did with many of you too. Her husband, Dan, passed away at just 41 years old after a long battle with cancer. They often watched my livestreams together, and he passed during a raging thunderstorm in New York City. My mom's dad also passed away at a very young age, and I was never able to meet him, so Jennifer’s message hit especially close to home for me. Life is short. Love the people around you, appreciate every moment, and live life to its fullest, because none of us know how much time we have. This is for Dan ❤️
