Got it!! Oct 2010 XY has been compiled. Looks like one of the first things they tried was the rigged sprite animation the gen 5 games had? Doesn't work quite right here...

X was one of my first Pokemon games, and half the time I was in the Amie mode. Seeing this so early (Sep 2011) and already so feature complete (besides only being able to choose Pikachu) is amazing.

There was a point in BW1 dev where the player had the ability to jump. It briefly returned a year later, but the maps evidently weren't designed around it.

Early in the development of BW1, there was a huge test map that demonstrated the 3D capabilities of the new engine. A big spiraling mountain with some cliffs and rivers around.

Here's some unused Skateboard functionality! These holes found in Route 6 were meant to be crossed with the Skateboard. The source code calls them "SKATE_HOLE". Fixing the movement code for the skateboard alongside fixing the collision ID it checks for shows this in action.

In the Sonic 1 prototype, there lies unreferenced data for another demo. It involves Sonic slowly walking to the right, jumping once, then running for the rest of the demo. Peculiar, isn't it?
