Every morning until the local elections I will post the track record of ActionSA leaders like Nasiphi Moya, Herman Mashaba & Athol Trollip in fixing broken municipalities. I do this to show that ActionSA is the proven alternative to broken municipalities led by failed parties.

I have started the ActionSA pothole repair team in my neighbourhood and I am calling on residents of Parkhurst, Parktown North, Rosebank, Blairgowrie and Saxonwold to post the details of the potholes that trouble them in the comments section below so we can fix them too.

If the GNU can't pass a budget or agree on policy, then the 0.5% VAT increase WILL happen. ActionSA stepped in to condition the passage of the fiscal framework upon removal of the VAT increase. Government must get more of its revenue elsewhere, not from South Africans. Just wait and see...

It has become fashionable now for politicians to talk tough on illegal immigration & hijacked buildings. But Herman Mashaba has been consistent, standing up for South Africans on these issues, unapologetically, from day one, even when he was attacked for it.

The DA has previously refused to support motions of no confidence without a pre-negotiated governing alternative. Now, they want everyone else to support their motion that has no majority & no governing alternative. The DA cannot work in a coalition setting.

ActionSA's decision to intervene to solve the budget crisis and reverse the VAT increase from the opposition benches involved no discussions about joining a GNU, or positions offered or positions sought. From moment one, it was always about the people of South Africa.

Yesterday I was asked about a motion of no confidence being planned to remove ActionSA Mayor Dr Nasiphi Moya. All I can say is God help the party that brings that motion because the public fallout will make the reaction to Gen Mkhwanazi look like a Sunday picnic.
