🚨 Ted “Lando could win the WDC this weekend, but then it complicates stuff because you’re on form, the car’s on form, I think I heard u say they found the steering issue at the factory. So that means you could get in amongst it” George 🗣️”Oh, I hope so. I mean, I wish them all the best, but it’s not going to change how I drive this weekend. We’re obviously going to go out there trying to get on the podium, trying to win the race, and then see where things fall after that.”👊

George 🗣️ “Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Obviously, we both made bad starts, mine was slightly less bad. Safety car timing, restart, I got a harvest limit, which meant I couldn’t recharge my battery, and I had no battery to restart. Lewis passed me and then faced another battery problem when Charles passed me.” …

George 🗣️ : “I don’t know, at the moment, it’s like a race to turn 1. I made a good start, but Max covered Lando, I expected Lando to go to the outside to cover Charles, so I stayed on the inside, but Lando didn’t move across, he got overtaken, I got blocked in as well… If I came out of T1 P4, I’d have finished P4.” “The result is a bad one for us today, but as I said, I was 0.020 off the front row yesterday, had I been that 0.020 faster, I probably could’ve been on the front row. If I could have held P2, I’m very confident I’d have finished second or third today”

🚨 George 🗣️ “I’m getting excited to go racing to be honest, it’s kind of like doing your homework vs not that an exam is exciting, but it’s like we’re building up to go racing and to go qualifying and competing, and that’s where the excitement lies.” “The hard work you put in now is gonna benefit you there. We’re just enjoying seeing the progress that we’re making and hoping it will enough to put us in a good place”🔛

George 🗣️ : “I take zero satisfaction of finishing P4, after that race, to be honest, it was a bad start, poor driving from my side and then the pace was bad, then obviously the damage…” “I lost 1 second per lap, so it was just really not fun at all, very lucky to finish in P4”

George 🗣️ “I had the steering problem again, from about lap 5 same as I had in quali, but I managed to drive around this and got used to the challenges of this problem. The pace looked quite good in stint 1 and then at the start of my 2 stint when Max came out of the pits I was like ‘Right, I’m gonna attack now to see if I can take the lead’ and I grained my tyres the front right tyre()” “Every lap was just so painful. I was going slower and slower I was like ‘oh this is not fun’, so yeah P3 was the maximum today()”
