These are the kinds of things the government is supposed to put on the Island first because that is where everybody will know such things exist. Ikeja people especially don't have time; they just want to go to work or their businesses and go home. They don't have time for the fast life or showing off. 😭 Despite their wealth, they keep quiet. If I ever see PBAT, First thing i will do is that I’ll give him a very big hug for saving us from the shame of this airport. For over a decade, Nigerians and foreigners complained endlessly about its condition, yet nothing meaningful was done. At least President Buhari tried to improve things, but many problems still remained. What I appreciate about this administration is that they understand that a travel experience starts from the airport. In fact, if I had my way, I would not only remodel the airport, but also upgrade the roads leading to it, the surrounding environment, adjoining roads to ikeja City, and even the routes connecting to the Island. These things make powerful statements. The way people perceive an airport and its environment affects how they see the country, the people, and even the government itself.
