Smart Remesh 2.1.6 is now available. **Baking on the GPU** What's new in the 2.1.6 version: - Baking textures on the GPU speeds up the process. - Enhanced analysis speed for high-poly 3D models before remeshing - Improved UV handling during the baking process allows for creating a new unwrap or baking onto existing UVs. #blender #bake

Are you ready for some big magic?! Day 27 of the Smart Remesh 4 training Blind_Test_03 #blender #b3d p.s 1: “Blind test” means the engine has never seen the test high-poly 3D model before, either during training or testing. This is the first time the engine has encountered it p.s 2: This engine doesn’t remesh a model; instead, it regenerates a high-poly model to Lowpoly base on adaptive mesh generator, similar to Tripo P2. However, while Tripo generates a 3D model from an image, this engine regenerates the model based on your high-poly model.

Smart Remesh 2.1.7, on the way.... ** Cloth Remeshing ** coming soon.... Cloth Remesh · Progress 01: As I continue posting about cloth remeshing, I want to share some of the challenges I faced during development, as well as how I approached and solved them. This is Part 1. Remeshing clothing is more challenging than remeshing most other types of 3D models. Because clothing contains folds, wrinkles, and complex surface forms, it is very important to preserve as much detail as possible throughout the remeshing process. Standard methods that work well for organic models don't always give good results here, because they often require a much higher polygon count to preserve those details properly. To address this, I decided to use the garment's existing UV layout as part of the remeshing process. Each UV island is remeshed independently, and once the process is complete, all of the parts are combined back into a single mesh. This approach helps achieve better detail preservation with a lower polygon count, while also making the remeshing process faster and producing a more acceptable final result. #blender #b3d
