TacSim is the secret banger of 007 First Light: A mode where you can test your skills, compete on global leaderboards, and keep pushing for better runs. This is my Tier 1: The Training Run score of 97,090, putting me in the top 1% worldwide on PS5. I've probably attempted this run 50+ times trying to break into the Top 100 and simply couldn't do it... that's exactly why I love it. IO Interactive really knows how to create replayability.

When I saw that Assassin's Creed Unity was getting a 60 FPS update for current gen consoles, I honestly could not wait to see it with my own eyes. And after playing it, I realized it is not just 60 FPS. The game also seems to be upscaled to 4K, which is absolutely insane in my opinion and the game runs incredibly smooth! Many of you know that I have never been the biggest fan of Unity. But I have to admit, maybe it is just placebo, yet it genuinely feels like the game plays better. Almost like the controller responds more precisely to what I actually want to do. I tested it properly in stealth and of course in parkour, and I have to say, it feels amazing! For PC players this might not be anything special. But for someone like me, mainly playing on console, finally being able to experience Assassin’s Creed Unity at 60 FPS is a game changer. And by the way, co op also seems to be working normally again. This is honestly crazy to see!

I’m slowly starting to feel stupid for even having to discuss something like this... When you got drunk in the original Black Flag, Edward didn’t actually stumble around during normal gameplay. The screen just became blurry and shaky and once you fast travel you are no longer drunk. That was basically it. The scene where Edward is visibly stumbling around with a rum bottle in his hand comes from an Animus/loading corridor during a mission, which is something completely different. So the real question is: Did they rework that old cutscene so it’s no longer used as a loading screen? Or is it still in the game as some kind of transition scene? If it’s still there, then yes, they probably could’ve easily implemented that stumbling animation into free roam once you get too drunk. But since I didn’t test it myself, I can’t fully judge it either. I assume that we now can get drunk and fast travel to other locations and still be drunk and THAT is where this cutscene comes from. That’s why, if people want to complain about this stuff, at least do it with actual FACTS. Because I genuinely don’t think the video the AC account uploaded is even the same scene everyone is talking about.

Out of the 60 minute open-world session I had for Black Flag Resynced, I spent almost 40 minutes recording a dedicated stealth video for you all... I think as the AC Shadows Stealth Challenge Winner I atleast had to try it but because of the limited time and pressure, it’s not a perfect video but it should be enough to give you a real taste of the stealth experience Watch here:

I hope my clips were able to give you a small taste of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. To wrap up this preview build, here’s my current rating: Parkour: 9/10 Combat: 9/10 Stealth: 6/10 Graphics: 10/10 Naval Gameplay: 10/10 Open World Design: 10/10 Side Activities: 8/10 Small note: I still haven’t had enough time to fully explore everything the way I want to especially when it comes to stealth and combat. So far no Assassin’s Creed game has ever received a 10/10 combat rating from me. But this one is getting very close… once I can finally start properly experimenting with it. 👀🔥

After finishing my open-world session for my Black Flag Resynced Preview, I only had one goal left: kill as many guards as fast as possible. Here’s the result. Keep in mind that half of the enemies weren’t even focused on me, they were busy fighting NPCs, which made the chain kills much easier. Now imagine fighting all of these guards completely alone. That’s when the combat system becomes truly satisfying to master.

Let's talk about the parkour of Black Flag Resynced. Sadly we couldn’t showcase the parkour in Havana as much as we wanted, which is a shame because it was really fun. I still tried to show off as much as possible during my playthrough. The good thing: -Advanced Parkour -Manual Jumping -Back Eject & Side Ejects -Corner Swings -Ziplines (NEW) will all be in the game from DAY ONE (which should always be the case). I'm not the ultimate parkour guy but I personally like the overall parkour experience. Edwards still feels like Edward but just with a new engine. I'm missing some few old animations from OG but all in all I'm pretty sure people will love it.

This is one of my best edited Assassin's Creed videos I've ever done. Took me a whole week to record and edit everything. It has around 8000 views on YouTube. A guy stole MY video with worse quality and posted it on TikTok: gets 100k views and gets praised for his editing skills. Sometimes I feel creating content is so unfair...

Double Finishers are back for the first time in 11 years! Unlike the original game where two guards attacked at the exact same time and you only had to press the counter button to trigger these finishers in Black Flag Resynced requires you to parry two consecutive attacks first. After that, you get a short time window to activate the “Double Takedown.” This video shows two examples of it in action. There’s also a Pistol Double Finisher, although that one can be triggered without needing two guards.
