This is now everyday reality for many of us. A family day out to the beach results in a torrent of racist abuse followed by indecent exposure at my family. My youngest is 6. Before I started recording, they started with 'get out of our country' the same kind of line that the likes of Reform and Lowe push. I haven't experienced this kind of ramdon racism on the streets since I was a child in the 80's, I was hoping my own children wouldn't have to go through the same thing. How far this country has fallen. That's why we need to work even harder, bring back a message of hope, and offer real change. We need to bring to life my vision of an #IslandOfBelonging

on my way to visit two of the Hunger Strike prisoners who are being held at HMP Bronzefield Rightly, these political prisoners are demanding the closure of Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, which supplies at least 85% of the land army equipment and drones used by the Israeli military in Gaza.

There are proposals to cancel Indefinite Leave to Remain. That would tear families apart — including my own. My wife could have been separated from her children under these proposals. People like Tariq Khawaja, who’ve lived here since babies, could be taken from their communities. It’s inhumane. These people are Britain.

Dr Hussam Abu Safiyah has been held for more than two years in an Israeli torture facility. His life is at serious risk, he's been denied medical treatment and tortured daily. On the doorstep, a man shouted at me: “I’m not voting for a p@#i.” I didn’t walk away. I listened to him. Turns out his real issue was fly-tipping — so a few days later, I got it cleared. A few months later, we spoke again. After the election, he told me: “I voted for you.” People aren’t voting Reform because they’re racist — they’re voting Reform because they’re fed up and feel like they have no other options. Reform are saying: blame browns, people, blame the migrants, blame the Muslims — as if that’s the solution to all our problems. We’ve got to offer something real. Something better. Last night in Leeds, I joined a powerful demo after recent attacks on brown women across the UK. I almost didn’t want to speak — because it’s women’s voices that need to be amplified. But this had to be said. If I say Sarah Everard, most people know that name. If I say Sabina Nessa, far fewer do. Two women. Two murders. Two acts of sexual violence — but treated so differently. And now, we’re seeing racists so emboldened that they’re using the rape as a weapon of intimidation.

The threat to allotments should be taken very seriously, for many in this country. Allotments are the only access to land and to growing space that ordinary people have. We should all have a right to land, to grow, and to flourish. These proposals will have a disastrous effect on people's physical and mental health, an additional burden on food prices. we need to stop her #SaveOurAllotments
