Yesterday under a very thin veil, Reform councillors brought a motion to council to attack another marginalised community. Gypsy, Roma and the Travelling community already face discrimination at all levels of society. Instead of demonising them we need solutions that work to support and celebrate these ancient British communities and traditions.

This is now everyday reality for many of us. A family day out to the beach results in a torrent of racist abuse followed by indecent exposure at my family. My youngest is 6. Before I started recording, they started with 'get out of our country' the same kind of line that the likes of Reform and Lowe push. I haven't experienced this kind of ramdon racism on the streets since I was a child in the 80's, I was hoping my own children wouldn't have to go through the same thing. How far this country has fallen. That's why we need to work even harder, bring back a message of hope, and offer real change. We need to bring to life my vision of an #IslandOfBelonging

on my way to visit two of the Hunger Strike prisoners who are being held at HMP Bronzefield Rightly, these political prisoners are demanding the closure of Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, which supplies at least 85% of the land army equipment and drones used by the Israeli military in Gaza.

There are proposals to cancel Indefinite Leave to Remain. That would tear families apart — including my own. My wife could have been separated from her children under these proposals. People like Tariq Khawaja, who’ve lived here since babies, could be taken from their communities. It’s inhumane. These people are Britain.

This was filmed about 10 days ago, but released yesterday on Turn Left Media "Trans people are one of the most visible and marginalised minorities — and I know what it feels like to be othered. I’m a brown, Muslim man with a big beard and brown skin. The people who come after me are the same people who come after trans people." Wherever there’s discrimination, we stand together.
