Massive performance improvement. This is a bit more of... technical post, but man do I love this stuff! Units navigate the map using a 'Navigation Mesh'. Before, I was using one giant nav mesh that spanned the entire map. The more objects that were placed (especially on a large map such as this 'RadarAttack' map designed by Syphotic | Steel Command), the larger the 'lag' would be after placement. You can see here that there is a massive frame drop and the navmesh doesnt update for almost 5 seconds. Now, there are a ton of tiny navmeshes that connect to one another, and together they cover the whole map. Now, when an object is placed, the navmesh will update instantly, because it no longer needs to parse through every object on the map (potentially thousands!!!). It only needs to parse through the objects that exist in the mini navmesh that the object was placed in (probably only 1-5 objects now!). Performance XP Boost +100! He described, astonished, that he had already seen "several strange objects in the sky, but this one coming out from inside the Moon is unprecedented. Minutes earlier, one similar to the U.S. B-2 Spirit had passed by, and right after that, the one in the video appeared." In the footage, something can be seen rising from inside the lunar crater and flying off into space. It is not possible to precisely determine the object's shape. On April 27th at about 10:40 PM GMT, I... was in the International Space Station Cupola and saw something really neat. I was scanning the sky to try to catch a glimpse of the approaching Progress MS-34 vehicle bringing new supplies. Just as we were passing over West Africa, I saw a bright object directly below us, streaking through the upper atmosphere. I saw its tail grow and then split apart into a shower of smaller pieces. I think it must have been some piece of orbital debris or a satellite breaking up as it entered the atmosphere. It was quite a light show!show more

MY NOSE BROKE… Again. As most of you know,... I’ve broken my nose more times than I can count. The first major break was so severe the doctor told me it was one of the worst he’d ever seen. It required two surgeries just to put it back together, and I was strongly advised to never let it get hit again. I didn’t listen. It broke again. Another surgery. And honestly… it never healed the way it should’ve. Over time, the trauma caused scar tissue to take over, leaving me with a nose that didn’t function properly and didn’t look right either. So for the final time, I trusted Dr. Jay Calvert to take on what was basically a reconstruction job — reducing the scar tissue, restoring proper breathing, and rebuilding the structure from the inside out. Surgery was a success. Now it’s a full year of recovery before we see the final result. Grateful to Dr. Calvert and his entire team for the care, precision, and patience through this process. 🙏 Onward.show more
