#HandsOffSudan‼️‼️‼️ SUDAN IS BLEEDING!! There is little to no mainstream media coverage of the deadly ethnic cleansing/genocide going on there, yet thousands of people have been slaughtered, whole families and villages murderded and several others being tortured daily! Millions of people have been displaced and millions are in need of medical attention there. Millions have no access to medical care, water, food etc and yet Sudan is a large land mass with fertile soil amongst several other resources. To gain a better understanding I did some research and discovered that Sudan is very resource rich!! ▪️Oil: Sudan has proven oil reserves that are 97.8 times its annual consumption. ▪️Gold: This is Sudan's most valuable export, and the country is Africa's third leading producer after South Africa and Ghana. ▪️ Minerals: Sudan has many other minerals like, silver, chromite, manganese, gypsum, mica, zinc, iron, lead, uranium, copper, kaolin, cobalt, granite, nickel, tin, and aluminum. ▪️Agriculture: Sudan has fertile land and is a leading producer of cotton and peanuts. Other crops include gum arabic, sesame seeds, grain sorghum, and wheat. ▪️ Livestock and fisheries: Sudan has a considerable livestock population. Much of the population of Sudan are knowledgeable and engaged in subsistence farming raising a variety of animals. ▪️Water: Sudan has an estimated 440 billion cubic meters of annual rainfall, with the highest rates in the south. The Nile River is a major source of freshwater for Sudan, with 73% of the country's annual supply coming from the river and its tributaries. Sudan also has 30 different types of wetlands, including three Ramsar sites The country is enduring a bloody and brutal war that has affected its agricultural output, food security, economic functions and general life there. Below in this thread I have posted a video and a link I found on ways to help which include emailing your state representative appealing for help for the people and ways to donate to doctors running a few hospitals there. Below are more videos and some links. More in the comments. Dani please add anything I’ve missed or correct anything incorrect.
