Upgrading the access road to the Wajir County Aggregation and Industrial Park (CAIP) to bitumen standards undertaken by the Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) under Package 6 of its development tenders. The project forms part of the Governmentโs broader national initiative to provide critical enabling infrastructure, including quality road networks, to support the operationalisation of priority County Aggregation and Industrial Parks across the country. The improved road will enhance accessibility to the Wajir CAIP, facilitate the movement of goods and raw materials, reduce transport costs and strengthen the parkโs potential to drive local manufacturing, trade, investment and job creation.
