For 20 years, marketing meant winning a click on a list of Google results. That era is ending. AI systems now read the options for your customers, weigh the sources, and hand back a verdict that names only two or three businesses. In this video, I break down the trust signals AI is already using to decide who gets recommended, why most businesses are sending the wrong ones, and the reputation strategy I'm restructuring my entire approach around.

Social media and SEO just had a baby. Google can now show you which Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube posts appear in search, what people searched to find them, and how much traffic they drive. That means your social posts are becoming search results. And almost every search falls into one of four buckets. Informational: “How do I get more protein?” That’s a tutorial video. Navigational: “Netflix login” or “Chipotle locations.” They already know where they want to go, they’re using Google to get there. Commercial: “Best CRM for small businesses.” That person wants comparisons, rankings, and honest reviews. Transactional: “Price,” “discount,” “book,” or “near me.” They’re ready to take action, so give them one clear next step. Most content creators only make informational content because they don’t realize the other three categories exist. Here’s what I tell my clients: type your topic into AnswerThePublic. It shows you the questions and phrases people are already searching for. Then create videos across all four types of search intent, adapt them for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and publish them across every relevant platform. Finally, use Google Search Console to track which topics rank, which searches drive traffic, and which videos deserve follow-ups. You’re not just posting more content. You’re covering the entire customer journey and using real data to decide what to create next. The feed rewards whoever posted last. Search rewards whoever answered best.

If I had to start from zero tomorrow and bring in new customers fast, here's exactly what I'd build. Top to bottom. I'd start with the ad. Open ChatGPT or Claude, paste in what you sell and who you sell it to, ask it to write you ten different hooks for a Meta ad. Pick the best three. Then jump into or one of the AI video tools and have it generate the visual. Thirty minutes, you've got a real ad ready to run. You run that ad to one landing page. Not your homepage. One page, one offer, one call to action. Headline that stops the scroll, a few lines of value, an email or phone field, a button. That's it. Build it in HighLevel in about twenty minutes, drag, drop, you're done. The second someone enters their email, they drop into your CRM, automatically tagged with where they came from. Now the part most people skip, the follow-up. The moment that form is filled, a sequence kicks off automatically. Email and SMS, spaced over five to seven days. First message thanks them and delivers what you promised. Then a story. Then social proof. Then an objection you know they have. Then the offer. They don't have to think about you. You're showing up in their inbox and their texts at exactly the right time. The last message has a calendar link or a buy button right inside it. They tap, they book, or they buy. Done. The whole flow runs on its own from the ad all the way to the sale. You build it once. It works while you're sleeping. AI does the creative work. The system runs the customer journey. You spend your time on strategy. That's the play.

Google just turned every TikTok, Instagram Reel, and YouTube Short into part of your SEO strategy. Google Search Console can now show you which searches lead people to your social posts, along with clicks, impressions, and average search position. So your video doesn’t have to disappear after two days in the feed. It can keep getting discovered when someone searches for that topic on Google. But there’s a catch. More searchable content also means more average content. So don’t start by asking AI for 50 random ideas. Start with real demand. Go to AnswerThePublic, type in the topic you want to be known for, and look at the questions people are already searching. Let’s say you search “losing weight.” You might see: “Why am I not losing weight?” “Can one cheat day ruin my progress?” “Why do I gain weight on the weekends?” The average video says, “Eat less and exercise more.” But now you can use AI as a thought partner to connect the dots and find a sharper angle: “You’re not failing during the week. You’re undoing it every weekend.” That’s the difference. Find the demand. Add the angle. Make the best answer on the internet.

SEO spent 20 years training its own replacement. Marketers did exactly what Google asked, answer the question better than anyone, and got so good at it that Google no longer needs to send you the visitor. It just reads your work out loud. This video breaks down why the old scoreboard of rank, click, and traffic flipped upside down, why what the rest of the internet says about you now moves AI more than your own pages, and why the real job today is becoming the trusted answer instead of chasing the click. If your reports show dead pages that are actually being read back to people every day, this explains what's really going on.

The next version of SEO isn’t about ranking number one. It’s about what AI says about you when someone asks. Because Google, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, they’re not just showing links anymore. They’re forming opinions. They’re comparing brands. They’re deciding who sounds credible, who sounds risky, who gets recommended, and who gets ignored. That means your biggest search problem in 2027 might not be that you don’t show up. It might be that you show up wrong. Maybe AI describes your competitor as the trusted expert… and describes you as generic. Maybe it mentions your brand… but the sentiment is neutral while your competitor is glowing. Maybe it pulls from old reviews, outdated articles, weak bios, messy positioning, or random third-party pages you didn’t even know were shaping your reputation. That’s the part most businesses are missing. AI search visibility is not just a traffic game. It’s a reputation game. And that’s why we added the Sentiment tab inside Ubersuggest’s AI Search Visibility tool. It doesn’t just track whether your brand appears across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI. It shows how those engines describe you. Positive, neutral, or negative. And it charts that sentiment over time against your competitors. So now you can answer the question that actually matters: Not just, “Am I showing up in AI answers?” But, “What is AI actually saying about me?”

One of the biggest SEO teams on the planet. Wiped out anyway. HubSpot built the blog every marketer chased. Then organic traffic dropped roughly 80% in a year, according to Ahrefs and SEMrush. Their CEO explained it on the earnings call: AI Overviews are giving the answers, and the clicks are drying up. Nobody got lazy. Search itself changed. Our NP Digital numbers show the exact same shift. #SEO #AISearch #DigitalMarketing #SearchEngine #NeilPatel

Google just gave away the real secret to showing up in AI answers. And honestly, it contradicts a lot of the viral vidoes you’ve been watching. Because Google basically said: stop obsessing over tricks like llms.txt, PerfectSchema, and all these technical hacks people are trying to sell you. That’s not what gets you cited. Here’s what does. AI doesn’t need to cite generic content. If your article says the same thing as everyone else, the AI can answer the question without you. But if your content has something original. A real test, a number you measured, a customer insight, a process you actually use, now the AI has a reason to reference you. That’s the difference between commodity content and non-commodity content. But here’s where most people get stuck. They don’t know what to create first. That’s why tools like AnswerThePublic are useful. You can see the real questions people are already asking around your topic, then use those questions as the starting point. But don’t just answer them generically. Add something only you know. Your data. Your experience. Your customer conversations. Your examples. Because in the AI era, the goal isn’t just to write content. It’s to become the source AI wants to cite.

Google isn’t just a search engine anymore. People still go there to ask questions. But now Google doesn’t just give them links. It reads the websites, pulls the information together, and gives them the answer right on the page. So your job has changed. You’re not just trying to rank for the question anymore. You’re trying to become part of the answer. And that means generic content whether it’s a blog post, a LinkedIn post, or a social media video is losing value fast. If your content says the same thing as everyone else, Google doesn’t really need you. So don’t start by asking, “What should I post?” Start by asking, “What is my market already asking?” Use a tool like AnswerThePublic to find the real questions people are already asking in your market. You can type in your niche and see the real questions, comparisons, fears, and how-tos people are actually typing into google, ChatGPT, Instagram, Tiktok Youtube right now. That becomes your content map for blogs. For LinkedIn. For YouTube. For short-form videos. But the key is: don’t answer those questions generically. Add your data. Your examples. Your customer conversations. Your experience. Your proof. Because in the new Google, the winner isn’t always the page that ranks. It’s the source that gets used.

HubSpot reportedly lost around 80% of its organic traffic, and its revenue still grew more than 20%. That gap is the whole story of search right now. Across 42,000 sites, the average one gets just 2.4% of its search traffic from its own brand. The top performers get almost 10%, nearly four times more. The winners aren't ranking better. People are searching their name. #SEO #BrandStrategy #MarketingTips #NeilPatel #DigitalMarketing

The biggest losers in the Google traffic collapse aren't the people who ignored SEO. They're the people who mastered it. For years, businesses built everything around answering questions Google could rank, then Google learned to answer those questions itself. But losing traffic is just the symptom. The real problem is that most companies never owned their audience, they rented it from Google, and the landlord just changed the rules. In this video I break down why the old model is breaking, who gets hit hardest, and why HubSpot could lose most of its organic traffic and still grow revenue. Because clicks and demand were never the same thing, and the brand is the part you actually keep.

Google AI Mode just flipped the entire SEO playbook, and most marketers are still playing a game that no longer exists. The brands winning right now aren't the ones with the best SEO tactics. They're the ones building authority that AI systems recognize and trust across every platform where people search.

Sorry to break it to you, but if you think AI can automate all your marketing, you’re probably going to be disappointed. Yes, AI can write your posts. It can create images. It can analyze data. It can even help you build campaigns faster. But faster does not always mean better. AI still needs someone to tell it what matters. It needs someone to understand the customer, choose the right message, and decide what is actually worth creating. Because your goal is not to produce more content. Your goal is to become more visible. You need to know where people are discovering your brand. Are you showing up on Google? Are you being mentioned by ChatGPT and other AI platforms? Are your competitors showing up more often than you? That is where AI becomes useful. Not when it replaces your marketing, but when it helps you see what you could not see before. With you can track your share of visibility across search and AI platforms. You can see where your brand appears, where your competitors are winning, and which topics could help you get mentioned more often. So do not use AI to put your marketing on autopilot. Use it to make better decisions, move faster, and become harder to ignore.

There's a difference between charging more and being worth more. Jacking up the price of one product just prices you out. Raising perceived value is what works. Bundle your hero product with a natural companion, package it like a complete kit, and you can charge a premium, because you're no longer selling a thing. You're selling the confidence that nothing's missing. #Ecommerce #TikTokShop #PricingStrategy #MarketingTips #NeilPatel

Big-screen TVs used to cost thousands of dollars. But then they got super cheap. Why? It's the same reason social media is free. Vizio doesn't make money selling TVs anymore. Last quarter, they actually lost money on the hardware. But they still made $109 million in profit. How? Their TV is now an ad platform. The ads, the data, the targeted recommendations that's the actual business. And it's not just Vizio. Samsung, TCL, LG, every major brand makes more from ads on your TV than from the TV itself. Here's why this should change how you think about your own business. The product isn't the product anymore. The customer relationship is. Vizio sells a TV. The relationship is the actual business. Tesla sells a car. The software subscriptions are the actual business. HP sells you a printer at a loss. Ink is the actual business. Same pattern across every industry, the first sale is just the entry fee. Smart operators are now willing to lose money on the first sale because they know what comes after. And here's how that plays out online. You run ads or build organic traffic. People land on an offer, a freebie, a guide, something worth their email. They join your list. From that moment on, your job isn't selling. It's nurturing. Email sequences. SMS follow-ups. Automations that keep the relationship warm until they're ready to buy and ready to buy again, and again. That’s what platforms like HighLevel, one of our partners, are built for.. The place where every customer relationship lives, builds, and compounds over time. So if you're still optimizing every transaction for profit, you're playing a game everyone else just stopped playing. Build the relationship layer before the shift hits your industry.

Why is ChatGPT struggling so hard to make a profit? Hundreds of millions of people use it every week. OpenAI is generating massive revenue, and it is still losing billions a year. Here’s what I think is going on. Look at where the real advertising dollars go online. Some of Google’s biggest advertisers are companies like Booking, Expedia, and Amazon. Why? Because when you book a hotel or buy a product, you don’t want one perfect answer. You want options. You want to scroll. Compare prices. See photos. Check reviews. Feel like you made the right decision. That is how people buy. And that is where chat struggles. Ask ChatGPT for the best hotel in Tokyo, and it can give you a smart recommendation. But it doesn’t recreate shopping. It compresses the journey into an answer, when the money is made in the exploration. Even Walmart tested checkout inside ChatGPT, and the early results reportedly converted three times lower than sending people back to Walmart’s own site. The experience was not fast, relevant, or complete enough. So here’s the lesson. The way people interact with your business matters more than most people think. If your customers need to search, compare, scroll, look at options, and make a confident decision, you have to show up in the places where that actually happens. That’s what we help our clients do every day at our ad agency, NP Digital. Because the real money is not just getting attention. It is being in the right place when someone is ready to buy.

Blogging used to be simple. Write something helpful, rank on Google, and wake up to traffic. That worked for a long time. Then AI got good at summarizing it. A recent study tracked 100 once-successful blogs. The median one lost 85% of its Google traffic. But the split is what matters. The blogs getting destroyed right now are mostly describing things “best budgeting apps,” “how to start a podcast,” “top tools in 2026.” The ones still growing? They’re proving something. They didn’t write another roundup. They built the thing, tested it for real, spent the money, made the mistake, and showed what actually happened. That’s the new filter. Before you create your next piece of content, look at what people are searching for using then you can create content for what people actually want to know about. Then ask yourself one question: Can AI answer this without me? If the answer is yes, you’re writing something a machine can already summarize better and faster than you. If the answer is no, if it requires your experience, your specific results, your data, or your actual outcome that’s where the opportunity is. The future of content isn’t more articles. It’s proof that can’t be faked.

I've been watching organic traffic drop across hundreds of client accounts while rankings stay perfectly stable, and I need to tell you exactly what's happening and why it won't reverse. Google is not broken. Google is doing this on purpose because ChatGPT and other AI systems forced them to keep users on the search results page instead of sending them to yours. The new game is not about ranking number one. It's about being cited inside AI-generated answers on Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini, and the brands winning that game built their presence across the entire internet, not just their own website. If you are still reporting keyword rankings to your executive team, you are measuring a game that already ended.

AI Overviews are showing up for more and more searches. And when they do, fewer people click. That’s the part everyone is panicking about. Google gives the answer right there, so the user doesn’t always need to visit your site. But SEO is not dead. The game just changed. Because now your job is not only to rank on Google. Your job is to become the source AI trusts enough to recommend. That means showing up in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and all the other places people are asking questions. This is why tools like Ubersuggest matter even more now. You can use it to see what people are searching for, what questions they’re asking, what competitors rank for, and where your content gaps are. Then you turn that into better answers. Not generic blog posts. Real expertise. Real examples. Clear explanations. Content that both humans and AI can understand, trust, and cite. And your website still matters because that’s where attention turns into action. AI can summarize information. But it does not close the deal for you. It does not build the relationship. It does not replace your proof, your offer, or your brand. So save this action plan.

Most marketers think the Gemini vs ChatGPT debate is about which AI writes better copy. It’s not. This is a platform war, not a chatbot comparison—and the decision you make now affects cost, speed, leverage, and long-term growth. In this video, I break down why Google Gemini has structural advantages OpenAI ChatGPT can’t easily replicate: decades of search and behavioral data, native distribution across Search, YouTube, Ads, and Workspace, proprietary TPU hardware, and the ability to subsidize AI pricing to protect Google’s ecosystem.
