"The boat had a fitness certificate, it was certified through the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure Development. The problems that occurred were as a result of negligence and human error by the captain of the boat. It had nothing to do with whether the boat was not fit or was had a certificate of fitness which was issued by the Ministry of Transport through the RIDA. So yes, it was very fit. Cabinet has approved that we go ahead and put in place an inquest to start investigations on exactly what took place, because there are a lot of stories that have been floated through social media. There are a lot ofstories that have been said by people without authority on how this boat and many other boats in Kariba are being managed. " Hon D. Garwe

Dear Chicken Lover, Dr Marara (my guy Dilesh Nguwaya) has scrubbed Harare’s streets like no one before. He’s done his part—so where’s yours? That empty box you just launched? It doesn't magically vanish. It sits there, breeding flies, until some overworked council worker or a resident with shame picks it up. And please, stop pretending you're relocating rubbish to Dumpington Heights or Dumpingdale Estates – those places exist only in your lazy imagination. Harare is not your personal landfill. If you're that committed to dumping, dzokera kumusha. Out there, a polythene bag becomes a seedling protector, and a tin becomes a measuring cup.
