For creators, a common complaint is that posts with links tend to get lower reach. This is because the web browser covers the post and people forget to Like or Reply. So X doesn't get a clear signal whether the content is any good. To help get better signal, posts will now collapse to the bottom of the page so people can react while you're reading. As always, remember: the post should stand alone as great content so write a solid caption.

Last year I invested in the former team of PillPack—who had sold to Amazon. I've known them for 12 years since our accelerator days and their design was always executed a level I've never seen in healthcare. Today they're debuting their product: General Medicine. And it's the simplest articulation of healthcare ever. It's just an online shop where you can pick your ailment, link your insurance, and book a $25 appointment with a doctor in under 60 seconds. It's crazy how much we've mangled the healthcare experience to the point where it is today—and this is a product that finally returns it back to its essence. An Update on the Explode app: Thanks for everyone who tried out Explode 2 weeks ago. It was a piece of growth hacking art—showcasing the bleeding edge of iOS hacks with every pixel optimized for conversion. While it was just a side project, being able to send disappearing photos in iMessage is fundamentally useful and thousands are using it. So we just pushed two big updates today: 1/ All features & upgrades are now free forever. 2/ The servers are now optimized so the app will run indefinitely. A common pattern in consumer AI over the last couple years: An app that generates AI portraits of you will go viral—but then users churn after a few days. I started advising one of these apps last year called VYBE and the goal was to turn it into a durable app. We started with this question: In what context would people need generative portraits on a recurring basis? The founder Mandela Patrick dug into the data and found that some users were sticking around: they were trying on different clothes using the app. So we redesigned the app to be exclusively focused on this use-case. But most importantly, we integrated it into their existing patterns of behavior: a mobile safari extension that would intercept the user every time they were shopping. Just tap a button to try on the item on any page. They just shipped it and the results blew past all expectations: Retention nearly 4x. Once the user enabled the extension, they were essentially retained for life. And even better, it unlocked a better revenue stream: instead of a subscription that users would inevitably cancel, VYBE simply collects a commission in the background off every purchase into perpetuity.
