Former challenge runner (snagged 3rd in the Sekiro no-hit run) now grinding hard in WoW. I’m flipping between DPS and healer roles as I chase new challenges

An entire guild worked for months to be the WORLD FIRST self found guild to clear Molten Core (also..taurens only, sweet) But things did not go according to plan. (full raid wipe) Can't really blame them, they were down to 30 people by the end of the run and Ragnaros is a DPS check

Payo just pissed off the entire WoW community, but while some players call for bans and action, what he did wasn't actually bannable. He just got the best staff in the entire game, the Nexus Key. But he didn't win a roll for it in a soft reserve run. Instead, he purchased it from the actual winner for 7000 gold. This, historically, is known as a GDKP, where someone buys items for gold. Those are actually bannable in the terms of service because they promote gold buying, but because Payo isn't distributing the gold to anyone else, he's found a loophole that goes around the terms of service. So, the people pissed off about this can't really actually do anything. Even if the gold is purchased, it's not technically his fault. Would you sell your bis loot for 7,000 gold?

Did Classic+ Just Get Leaked? Everybody in WoW is completely split on whether this is the news we've been waiting for, for years, or another false alarm. if you're plugged in you've probably seen the WoWhead datamined post everybody's talking about. Project Camelot. Supposedly, this could be the new Classic Plus Because it's a build completely different than any WoW game that's ever existed. it's not Midnight, not TBC. the build is a 1.6 (!!!) patch. And that jump up from the 1.15 Classic Era patch is a huge difference. does this mean Classic Plus or perhaps something different? Seasonal mode? Bridge the Gap? Titanforge?

EXPLOIT EARLY EXPLOIT OFTEN BREAKING NEWS: TBC LAUNCH, blizzard accidentally removed all the armor values from enemies in TBC.. this means warriors, hunters, and rogues have been doing WAY too much damage (30%+ more than expected) as a result, those physical classes were able to level much faster and farm gold and heroics at 70 easily 🧵👇

Blizzard is blowing a big opportunity in between TBC and retail phases, this would be the absolute best time to launch a FRESH season of discovery fresh server. (SOD FRESH SERVERS) Accelerated timelines..super fun..basically a private server..why not? (itd be seasonal) But instead of doing that, they’re just leaving us to wait for Classic+ for 8 months Why not just put out a sod 2.0 server for a few months for fun? It’d be popular surely..or maybe not? What do you guys think?

The original WoW class designer just revealed the secret behind PvP in World of Warcraft. FORCED randomness..it perfectly explains why 2004 WoW had so much RNG, and the reason behind it is fascinating According to a new interview from Blizzard class designer Kevin Jordan, being able to resist a spell or miss an attack was a key part of player versus player design. Kevin jordans theory was that making the entire outcome skill only was a mistake, because if the better player wins over a long enough time frame, then only the better players will want to play. Nobody wants to keep playing a game they lose every time. Do you agree with kevin jordans take about randomness in player versus player? Is pvp more fun if an average player can sometimes beat the best players? Or should it be pure skill based.

this felt like of the biggest missed opportunities in Blizzard history.. blizzard just held a big “state of azeroth” event today and they announced: absolutely nothing here’s why this announcement felt like a massive missed opportunity for wow classic players 🧵👇

i have literally never seen this before in world of warcraft. this dude swimwear, on feral druid his performances show he's one of the best tanks on any server. 99 parses, everything you could ask for unless you think parse culture ruins the game. But then you look at last phase, my mind exploded here, he's got 100 parses across the board on boomkin. Literally perfect. one of the best tanks on the server. arguably #1 boomkin on the server. ive never someone playing two vastly different roles at the highest level on 1 character. but the haters will counter that this story is whats WRONG with classic. That he didnt do it by choice. Sweaty optimized guilds have been switching to dreamstate and replacing th boomkin spot. So instead of getting to play the spec he enjoys, he had to swap roles and min-max just to keep his raid spot. is this dude one of the most impressive you've seen? or is he just a byproduct of sweats optimizing the fun specs out of the game?

Blizzard Just ENDED Private Servers (at least for 2026..) a federal court just shut down Turtle WoW permanently. blizzard filed a copyright lawsuit, won on all seven counts, and the cease and desist order bans them from ever making a successor.. is it just blizzard protecting their IP? or cynically..a money grab to get more subs before classic+? Either way, this is the strongest legal action Blizzard has EVER taken against a private server.. it sends a clear message, if you're playing on a private server in 2026, your character could vanish overnight. at least for now, the only reliable place to play Classic WoW is on the official servers What do you think, did Blizzard go too far? or is this exactly what needed to happen?

Blizzard Just REMOVED Boosting in TBC Today a brand new bluepost just dropped, and it PERMANENTLY REMOVES boosting from TBC 1) no xp from mobs unless you participate in combat 2) loot from mobs is based on how many people participated in the fight what do you think the reasoning is for removing boosts? and will it be good or bad for the game

blizzard customer service just hit a new low.. 1) coffeeboy on reddit saw a sale running for a boost on the battlenet launcher, he bought it, but the sale was already over 2) coffeeboy tickets blizzard to complain 3) blizzard sends him one of the most unhinged responses in recent memory players have complained recently about "ai responses" and missing the days when you could talk to an actual human.. is this the new way to make their AI responses seem more human? what's going on here

Who killed Mists of Pandaria Classic? TBC Anniversary..Or Blizzard? more and more guilds are disbanding, and most of the cutting edge guilds have left. tbc anniversary has certainly taken players away, but there's a bigger, deeper problem players are pointing to. in their recent "state of azeroth" show, blizzard refused to give any information, any news about what will happen to MoP players. we didn't get WoD classic, or an announcement that this would be the last "classic" game. we got something worse. radio silence. until blizzard confirms what is going to happen after mop, the player exodus is going to continue.

TBC Gearing Just Changed FOREVER If you're gearing a main or alt by doing heroics, dungeons ore quests right now, you're making a huge mistake. Right now, there's a new method that is infinitely faster and more efficient, and it could get patched soon. Blizzard increased honor gains last night, they didn't just increase them, they obliterated the concept of honor farming, and changed gearing for everyone. A single eye of the storm can net 4000 honor. While I gained nearly 37 thousand honor in about 3 and a half hours. That means battlegrounds are WAY more efficient than any other method for taking a character from zero to hero with full epic/blue gear. So whats your take, is this honor buff the right call, too much, or too late?

with the midnight hype push in full swing, a big new interview with blizzard from The Game Business reveals the future of wow (and classic) wow has a "bigger vision than simply an MMORPG" hinting at more game releases, new experiences, and "meeting the new generation where they are" Netflix shows? Theme parks? More new experiences like Plunderstorm? Classic+?

phase 2 just announced with 2 new raids in SSC and TK for May 14 that means an ENTIRE MONTH before the release. you're part of the side that wanted longer, slower phases, this is a huge win. but you also might be annoyed that youll be in karazhan for another month. whats your take on the (technically not delayed since they said "spring") delayed release date?

theres a tank NOBODY is playing in tbc raids right now, and it doesnt make sense. tbc raids are nerfed, which makes a tank that can generate huge threat and survive more important than ever. the massive popularity of tank paladins make sense, maybe 60, 70% of the fighting you do in a typical raid is big trash packs where consecration is perfect. and feral druids generate a ton of threat and bring DPS buffs to the table. But if you look at the top clears of ssc and tk, less than 5% of them ran a tank warrior. considering that warriors have ALL the activateable defensives and are perfectly designed to survive fights like kaelthas, and morogrim, why is nobody bringing them? i know with us having so many warriors id kill to have one reroll tank..

unpopular opinion: If you are pre-questing for TBC right now (or plan to), you are losing gold. i ran the math. 20x quests turned in at Launch (far less quests than most ppl planning to prequest) = about half a level. those same quests turned in TODAY = 200g+ raw cash/items you can't buy Epic Riding or level professions with with XP. stop being poor 🧵👇

ive been accused of ninja looting, and it ruined my good name. yesterday we took down kaelthas which took a total of 5 hours of forming and boss attempts on top of another 5 hours of TK on thursday. the tier chests go out, and syndraes comes to me liek yo what happened u gave this to the wrong guy. and im like what i just went off the addon it said u had 1 soft res. but he was supposed to have a 2nd in his note since he raided on thursday too and had been there for the full nearly 11 hours he just hadnt put his note into the new sheet. so now everyone is saying im ninja looting for this and they are making up things about the raids being a waste of time even though we cleared and i feel bad too because i know mages get the most value by far from tier and warlock dont even want it right? would you say itw as ninja looting? an honest mistake? whos falt was this full video on the situation is below 🧵👇

How to make thousands of gold 60-70 (TBC) 3 new ways to make gold in TBC anniversary with the megaservers: (whether you're leveling or 70, in the next 2 weeks gold is going to become the MAIN priority for flying, boes, gems, enchants) 1) 60-70 Auction profit - using auctionator and the "disenchant tooltip" feature, you can snipe tons of items that are pure profit when disenchanted. many have made thousands from this including streamer SimonizeShow 2) The 65*-70 Profit There's a spot in blade's edge that entirely relies on blizzard's new "congestion" solution working out. there are level 67-68 elementals that drop primal fires, but the spot usually is terrible and crowded. if it's empty though, this should be your home for as long as possible 3) The 68-70+ Home Strech There are 2 spots that stand out at 70, kirinvar village (good) and throne of kiljaeden (godly). kirinvar is basically just..tons of primal manas with instant respawns. throne of kiljaeden is bot proof and prints primal fires with instant respawns for up to 400g/hr
