1X Neo is a scam. Beware. Lots of folks are bullish on the 1X Neo but they don’t know how it’s not actually autonomous. Watch this video. They are using remote workers to do the work. Their original ad is incredibly misleading. I actually think this is a critical and needed step. I just don’t like when brands lie about their capabilities.

This is not the moment for pacing. This is the moment for acceleration. I believe the push from the big AI labs to “slow down” isn’t about safety… it’s actually about regulatory capture. They’re watching the explosion in open source and they want regulators to save them. My take on Bloomberg: The big labs are not worried about recursive self-improvement. They are worried about open source. Token share for the frontier labs is dropping faster than anyone expected. Open source is rising faster than anyone expected. That is why NVIDIA just paid a record price for Hugging Face. Coming from healthcare, I know what regulatory capture looks like, and this looks and smells like regulatory capture. At the same time, the scaling laws are not paying off the way the big labs promised. Verticalized, sector specific small models with the right harnesses are starting to beat general purpose giants on the tasks that matter. That is very good news for healthcare, defense, biology, and every other domain where general intelligence was never really the point. So my POV on the Xi and Trump meeting later this month is simple. Put the guardrails on where AI is allowed to touch (defense, biology, gain of function, clinical decisions), not on who is allowed to build. Slowing US development while China goes all in on open source is not safety. It is a gift.

We have an announcement WakeMed becomes one of the first US health systems to integrate Rezilient Health CloudClinics For decades, businesses have borne the brunt of complex and costly healthcare. With this partnership, we believe that the future of healthcare will involve more direct relationships between businesses and healthcare providers, which (if done correctly) will both improve access to care while also reducing total cost of care. Together, we're launching Rezilient with WakeMed, an integrated offering for employers in the Raleigh Durham Area. Together, we are providing same day virtual and in person primary, specialty care, and an integrated health system experience that meets people where they are. We are especially grateful for the conviction that the WakeMed team has in this offering as they've entrusted Rezilient with the care of their thousands of employees and their loved ones.

The one shot longevity solution is around the corner. Crémieux casually mentioned on Health Care Network this week that there’s a PCSK9 + GLP-1 fusion drug already in development. Add a BP agent and you’ve knocked out ~90% of what actually kills people. What’s actually in the pipeline right now: • Innovent’s IBI3030 - anti-PCSK9 antibody conjugated with GLP-1 / GCGR / GIPR peptides (announced 2025) • AZ’s MEDI4166 - PCSK9 mAb + GLP-1 fusion (proof of concept, discontinued for dose reasons) • Multiple active patents on PCSK9 + GLP-1 combinations LDL, glycemia, and weight are three of the biggest actuarial levers on all-cause mortality, in one injection.
