Open Gym was burnt and destroyed on 27th April, there were mobs pelting stones, forest office was burnt on 29th April and then finally the day of Direct Action comes on May 3rd, 7 Forest Offices were burned down. Attack on civilian houses at Torbung Bangla started by 3 PM. Here is a video of the mob gathering, all in black.

Christmas is coming, and so is the poppy harvesting season. Villagers from Leikot village in Kangpokpi district were found harvesting poppy resin. This was the same poppy field that the Manipur Police and CRPF claimed to have destroyed some weeks back.
