Not every day is a smooth test day. Our 500kg test stand—with brakes on all four wheels—decided to take off while the kN device was only at 60% throttle. Luckily, our failsafe tie-down strap did its job and prevented a mishap. Everyone’s safe, but one thing’s clear—this thing is seriously powerful. Time to double down on safety.

Reaching the KILO-N! We’ve successfully test-run our 100kg (1 kN) engine using the same engine controller. This big boy makes same thrust at idle as 40kg at full throttle. My hands still shaking with the adrenaline. Just needs a bit of startup tuning and a BIGGER fuel pump to hit perfection. Wishing you and your loved ones a Happy (almost) New Year! PS- 40 kg engine to scale

To celebrate the New Year and the successful test of our 100kg engine, we decided to have some fun with its smaller sibling, the DG J40. Naturally, we strapped it to a bicycle. What could go wrong? Stage 1: Idle thrust, went straight—smooth and easy start. Stage 2: Took a U-turn for another straight run—feeling confident. Stage 3: Full throttle—bike rockets forward, brakes fail, and I almost hit a car. Stage 4: Reduced throttle, managed to dodge the car (somehow). Stage 5: Shut it down, praying the leftover brakes would stop me. Lesson: Even the DG J40 delivers more thrust than you’d expect on a bike. Here's to a thrilling New Year!
