This remains a cornerstone initiative for our revolutionary party, ensuring a meticulous and robust audit of our grassroots membership. I extend my sincere gratitude to my Cell Group Chairman for granting me the platform to address and engage with our dedicated party cadres. It was profoundly inspiring to witness the vibrant revolutionary fervor of our members as they chanted and sang, “2030 ndeyaEmmerson." Indeed, Constitution Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3) is progressing seamlessly through its legislative stages and now awaits Presidential assent—a testament to a process that is genuinely people-driven and reflective of the popular will. Yesterday, I had the privilege of officially commissioning the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme in Cowdray Park, Bulawayo. This solar-powered borehole initiative—running under the theme “ #MvuraKuvanhu / #WaterToThePeople / #AmanziEbantwini” and incorporating a nutritional garden project, serves as tangible evidence of how the national community development programs spearheaded by His Excellency, President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, are meaningfully transforming livelihoods across the nation. This commissioning marks the official launch of an extensive borehole drilling rollout slated for Bulawayo Province. While the landmark Lake Gwayi-Shangani Dam project progresses steadily toward a permanent solution, with structural completion now surpassing 74 percent under the President’s targeted infrastructure drive, this borehole scheme provides a critical interim intervention to alleviate immediate water challenges. Reflecting a shared commitment to community welfare, the event was strictly non-partisan. We were honored to bring together leaders from across the political spectrum, including ZANU-PF Bulawayo Provincial Chairman Cde Jabulani Sibanda alongside Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) officials, including CCC National Organizing Secretary Hon. Badza, as well as local Members of Parliament and Councillors. Demonstrating a further commitment to social support, His Excellency also extended a generous allocation of 2,000 food hampers to vulnerable families within the Cowdray Park community. Upon my arrival, I was deeply moved by the reception of thousands of residents gathered in solidarity. A profound expression of public sentiment was evident through the numerous placards supporting the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 (CAB3). The data clearly demonstrates that this bill is a genuine, citizen-driven initiative; of the parliamentary submissions, over 500,000 expressed absolute support. Yesterday, we launched Talk and Pay Microfinance Services, expanding the TAP super app into direct financial empowerment for Zimbabweans. I am deeply grateful to Hon. O. C. Z. Muchinguri-Kashiri, Minister of Defense and ZANU-PF Chairperson, who officiated the event as Guest of Honor and officially launched Talk and Pay Microfinance at Rainbow Towers Hotel. I also extend my sincere thanks to Harare Provincial Minister of State, Hon. Senator Charles Tavengwa, ICT Minister Hon. Tatenda Mavetera, my wonderful wife, the Prevail Board Members, and all distinguished guests who graced the occasion. During my time in Burkina Faso, I made a point to visit the Thomas Sankara Memorial. It’s a powerful, somber space, and I went there to gain a deeper, more personal understanding of one of the most iconic figures in modern African history and the Burkinabe revolution. Walking through the memorial, you get a tangible sense of the country's journey through its carefully preserved artifacts and historical archives. Standing at the exact spot where President Thomas Sankara was gunned down is an unforgettable experience. The sheer authenticity of the site hits you immediately, the offices have been kept virtually untouched, preserving a pivotal moment in time exactly as it unfolded. What struck me most, though, was the unshakeable conviction of the Burkina Faso leadership: the deep-seated belief that Africa’s future must be built by African hands. It echoes President E.D. Mnangagwa’s mantra, “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo”- a country is built by its own people. In that same spirit, I respect President Ibrahim Traoré for his clear, uncompromising commitment to taking Burkina Faso forward. 🇿🇼 🇧🇫

In alignment with President ED Mnangagwa’s profound philosophy, “Nyika Inovakwa Nevene Vayo,” the ZANU-PF Manicaland Provincial Leadership convened and resolved that it is our collective civic duty to facilitate the seamless repatriation of our compatriots currently residing in South Africa who wish to return home. To give effect to this resolution, we have mobilized a fleet of 50 buses to transport our fellow citizens from the border, complemented by comprehensive logistical support to ensure their journey is comfortable and dignified. Furthermore, as part of our hospitality, we will be providing complimentary meals courtesy of Chicken Slice to our returning compatriots. Today marks an important milestone in our national journey toward universal access to clean and safe water. I officially opened the Presidential Borehole Drilling Scheme in Marondera on behalf of President E.D. Mnangagwa. We celebrate yet another demonstration of His Excellency, President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s unwavering commitment to improving the lives of all Zimbabweans. This initiative is part of the President’s broader vision to ensure that every community has reliable access to clean water, in line with Vision 2030, the priorities outlined in NDS1 and NDS2, and the global aspirations of the Sustainable Development Goals. While these boreholes provide immediate relief to our communities, they are also a temporary measure as Government advances long‑term, sustainable solutions to the urban water crisis through major projects such as Kunzvi Dam and other strategic water infrastructure developments across the country. I am particularly encouraged by the spirit of unity displayed here today. The presence of officials from across the political spectrum, including representatives from the CCC, among them the Mayor of Marondera-speaks volumes about the growing bipartisan cooperation among Zimbabweans. This is how nations are built: through shared purpose, mutual respect, and collective responsibility. More boreholes will be drilled across all provinces as we continue to operationalize the President’s mantra of “leaving no one and no place behind.” This is not just a slogan; it is a guiding principle that shapes every national programme under the Second Republic. As we stand only four days away from the first reading of CAB3 in Parliament, I encourage all Zimbabweans to continue supporting this historic piece of legislation. Many have noted that the number seven carries deep spiritual significance in the Bible, symbolizing completeness. Yesterday in Marondera during the Presidential Borehole Drilling scheme official unveiling, citizens expressed a clear and compelling vision: their focus is on development, not elections. This sentiment reflects a growing recognition that sustainable progress is achieved through investment in infrastructure, services, and livelihoods rather than prolonged political contestation. Having lived in the United Arab Emirates, I have witnessed firsthand how a nation can achieve remarkable transformation by channeling its energy into development. The UAE has built world-class infrastructure, diversified its economy, and elevated the quality of life for its people — all with limited emphasis on electoral processes. Their model demonstrates that when governance is anchored in delivery and efficiency, citizens benefit directly. For Zimbabwe, the message from Marondera is instructive. Communities are calling for reliable water supply, modern infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic opportunities. These are the foundations of dignity and prosperity. Elections are important in any democracy, but they should not overshadow the urgent need for tangible progress. Policy must therefore prioritize development as the central pillar of governance. By focusing on service delivery, resource management, and inclusive growth, leadership can respond to the people’s call: progress before politics, development before elections. #CAB3Bhoo

Today, I had the pleasure of being invited to speak at the Mujiba and Chimbwido Association of Zimbabwe, who gathered at the City Sports Centre for their general meeting. The meeting was addressed by the Minister of Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Harare Province, Hon. C.Z. Tavengwa, the ZANU PF Secretary for War Veterans, Cde Douglas Mahiya, myself, among other distinguished speakers. The roles of Mujibas and Chimbwidos were particularly significant during the liberation struggle. Mujibas, the young men, served as scouts, messengers, and intelligence gatherers, while Chimbwidos, the young women, provided food, shelter, and moral support to the fighters. Both groups faced immense risks, including violence, coercion, and exploitation, yet their contributions were indispensable to sustaining the liberation movement. I wish to commend His Excellency, President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, for his unwavering commitment to uplifting the Mujibhas and Chimbwidos. Through his leadership, their sacrifices are being honored and their welfare prioritized, ensuring that these unsung heroes of our liberation struggle are recognized as pillars of our nation’s freedom and progress. #CAB3

Today, I held a crucial meeting with the ZANU-PF Secretary for Economic Development and Empowerment, Cde Sithembiso Nyoni, at the ZANU-PF Headquarters. Following this engagement, I am pleased to formally announce the reinstatement of the Presidential Empowerment Program. The program will be implemented in strict accordance with the regulations issued by the ZANU-PF Secretary General. Oversight will be provided by the ZANU-PF Treasurer, ensuring accountability and adherence to party directives. Furthermore, the Office of Economic Development and Empowerment will serve as the designated implementation office, tasked with executing the program’s objectives.
