CHELTENHAM is closing in.. 🏆 🏆 🏆 I’ve bought a ticket for someone to go/come along with me on Champion Tuesday. Kopek, Mundi, Coolio, Majborough, De Sud, Con Hill, State Man, BDA, Lossie… That roar, top class horses and live atmosphere… 🔥 🎟️ TUESDAY TICKET 🎟️ + I will also buy them lunch! 🍔 + Barry Pinnington & MICHAEL CANNON Have both kindly gave me some cash to add, so £50 worth of bets thanks to the lads! 👌🏻 FREE TICKET, FREE LUNCH, FREE BETS! Will also try & help with travel arrangements etc. If the winner wants to join me & has not made plans they can do, or can take the ticket to enjoy.. 🏇🏻I can already see people moaning about Cheltenham and its prices. Don’t leave it until the last minute to book, as at present the prices are reasonable. I’ve got the week hotel for £450, booked just last week in Gloucester in a 4 star hotel with spa. (£225 for a week between me and my pal, 3 beds so could have been even cheaper) It’s £18 in Uber to the course between us! My flights - £57 return to Newcastle with EasyJet. Tickets are at the lowest price now!! and stagger in price up to the Festival. **There is a 18-28 concession too, plus 20% off multiple day purchases at present. If you don’t want the hassle of sorting then Venatour Sports Travel are working with the The Jockey Club to make accommodation/travel/ticket packages cheaper and accessible to more… I’ve used them before and it’s friendly, stress free and great trips. ✅ So don’t wait until Festival week and cry on about prices when it can be done cheap enough. (*In the context of a Festival and event!) - half those moaning I know haven’t even been to Cheltenham! And those papers reporting huge prices just need headlines, you just need to shop about. Also can’t wait for the boring - 😴 “Willie has too many runners”, “it’s not the same as years ago”, “the burgers cost too much” - stop crying on about a £1 or two, stop comparing to Ascot in the summer with a Saturday crowd etc, stop living in the past, and live in the moment! It’s the best show on turf! 💚🏇🏻 GO RACING! ❤️ (*I’ve done this for 13 years at cost, so if anybody needs help sorting tickets, travel, hotels etc I’m happy to help or guide to who I’ve used and best… just DM)

Still trying to work out how CONSTITUTION HILL, BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD & STATE MAN all fail to finish in the top 3 of that Champion Hurdle… 🤯 Both the previous Champion Hurdlers falling! Cheltenham 2025 was a mental week, but that Champion Hurdle result, you couldn’t write it.. 😵💫

🏇🏻 All booked for Aintree Racecourse for the Thursday & Friday. Thursday, 4 x Grade 1s, 1 x G2 & Hunters over the National fences. Friday, 3 x Grade 1s & Topham/NationalF. Hotel - £69pp (£138) (6 minutes from course) Tickets - £90 for Thursday/Friday. (Got them for £45pp for two days with offer 🤯 thanks Samantha Martin ) Train - Newcastle to Aintree £27 oneway. (*Car back, was £58 total return if not) Not bad value if you shop about. I use Trivargo, Train Line split tickets, local discounts, and the same at Cheltenham. I left this meeting until now and still think two days racing at a National meeting is good value. Thoughts? 🧐 Any help needed just DM! ❤️

5:55 Leopardstown - GREEN IMPACT. The stable form is so bad at present, but surely Green Impact should be winning this? Clear on ratings. Two time course winner from four starts. Debut form worked out. Won a Group 2 beating this weekend’s Derby favourite, Delacroix. Twice beat him over the mile at this track. Reappeared in the G1 2000g at Newmarket, sixth, beaten around 6L. The form has already been franked by the runner-up Field Of Gold winning the Irish 2000 Gs. The winner Ruling Court is also a market leader for the Derby with Delacroix. This is much weaker contest (Listed) Was over two lengths ahead of second fav when last met, rest plenty to find. Is this just because of the yard form? What am I missing? 😅

I’ve just booked CheltenhamRacecourse for this weekend! 🤩😅 Whatever goes on in my life I try to pursue what makes me the happiest. It will be a solo trip down, but life’s too short to overthink it, & I’m going to enjoy what I love the most! But, to be fair, you’re never alone when racing! ❤️ First time at the November meeting for me 😬 14x March (Festival) 1 x April meeting 6 x October meeting 2 x December But, never done the November! 😅 My favourite race of the whole racing calendar is by far the Supreme Novices, I’m very much a two-mile hurdling man at heart. Looking forward to seeing the Unibet Racing Greatwood on Sunday for the first time, the race often works out well in the season! Be nice to see the likes of JONBON back, and also the Veteran’s Chase that’s been added, so i can see some old favourites! Who’s going? It looks a great three days.. GO RACING! ❤️🏇🏻

As I sit here my heart is heavy and my eyes are filled. In what has been a shocking time for racing, over the last day I have found myself guilty of even smiling. For little outbursts of giggles at silly and insignificant things. Watching stupid videos I stumbled on to, catching myself laughing & then having to stop myself from smiling. Thinking how dare I laugh in a time like this. I have thought of things like betting, again stopping myself. Watching Cheltenham videos & race replays, and then thinking of how a young life has been taken. Racing has been my saviour, an escape, my one get away. There is not much people can say to make me think bad of racing as it has given me a purpose in life, filled a void. But the tough question I asked myself, is it really worth it? But then I seen this video of Michael… “Days like this is what I was dreaming of” “To get a day like this, I could retire in the morning” “You are - a Cheltenham Festival hero!” Michael O’Sullivan went out to live a dream. To fulfil a passion, a career he was born into, a role he was born to do. He grabbed that with both hands! I suddenly remembered watching Michael of how much joy racing gives people, how loving and passionate racing people are, how much the horses provide and give us, and that bond between animal and human. With this, I thought every dream must be pursued, life lived to the fullest, doing what you love, just as Michael was doing. This sport can give so much, and can take away even quicker. Michael will be laid to rest, but what he achieved even at his young age meant he etched himself into the history of Cheltenham, into racing, and into this unique community. He left his footprints in the sand of time, and in people’s hearts, not only for being a beautiful and talented young man, but for simply being a decent human! ❤️ In three weeks time it will be the Festival, and this year’s Supreme just won’t be the same. But if there is a roar, let it be for Michael. 💙
