Am I the only one who feels the dine-in experience at McDonald's India has deteriorated a lot recently? Have visited their outlets multiple times at Majiwada & Kapurbawdi in Thane and it is the same at both places. Starting with ACs not cooling enough, to understaffed outlets. Self-order machines are either defunct or not allowing customers to make the payment forcing them to again stand in queue and make their payments. It defeats the purpose of having such self ordering machines. The images shown in the menu look different from what we finally get.

Some observations after riding a 2-Wheeler for 200kms in Bangkok. • Roads are smooth as butter. Never did I worry about looking at the ground for potholes while riding. • 4-5 speed breakers during the entire trip of 200kms that too on a service road. • No paver blocks. • 2-Wheelers violate traffic laws (Haven't seen a car/bus jump a signal). • Pedestrians are respected while they cross the road. • Hardly any traffic cops on roads to catch offenders or to manage traffic. • Road signs painted on roads clearly visible. • Zebra Crossing is respected and is visible too. • No random U-Turns. • No jaywalkers. • Cars need to wait for a clear road before entering the main road from bylanes/U-Turns. Vehicles going straight have priority. • Vehicles respect lane discipline and keep safe distance between two cars. • Tuk Tuk drivers are like our auto rickshaw drivers only, will ask for exorbitant fares for short distances. • There is wrong side driving here too by bike taxis, delivery boys but the number is far smaller than what we see in Mumbai. • Plenty of direction signs throughout the city to guide the motorists. • No multicolour dance bar type street lights. • Next to zero honking by vehicles. • No ugly birthday wishes to nagarsevaks/politicians on illegal banners over dividers. • No illegal hawkers on the footpaths. • Not enough dustbins across the city, but still it is way cleaner. Even public markets are clean. No pan tobacco spit stains. We are decades back to Bangkok in 2024. Hopefully we should reach their standards in the next 50 years.
