Rolf report 25 Jan: I had a fine afternoon in the Law School, meeting dozens of students. They were an inquisitive lot: ‘Where does Rolf sleep?’ ‘How did he become the Campus Cat? ‘Does he like other cats?’ My staff had all the answers. And I had some Lick-e-Lix. Yum. Rolf x

Rolf report 10 Jan: One of my humans fashioned two perfectly good cat nests for Lizzie in the bathroom, because he knows that’s where she likes to hang at night. All the mod cons eg, heating, blanket. But no, she just wanted to cat loaf on the shower mat. Go figure. Rolf x

Rolf report 31 Dec: The Security team at the uni are special friends of mine. They rescued me many times in my ‘free-range’ days on campus and continue to keep an eye out for me. So I make sure to visit them at least once a year. Happy New Year to them and one and all! Rolf x

Rolf report 20 July: My lead is tied to a stake in the ground in the garden. I’m right at the end of my rope, so to speak, when I get close to the feeding station for the squirrels. Frustrating? Yes a bit, but I know that proper squirrel hunts are long in the past for me. Rolf x

Rolf report 23 Feb: Whilst I was at the Warwick Arts Centre Warwick Arts Centre I thought I would ambush the barista at the Benugo’s restaurant on the ground floor by requesting a cattuccino. But she was more than prepared: she had a proper one cooling in the fridge! Impressive. Rolf x
