Earth Mining in Kashmir which includes excavation of Ordinary Clay and Sand from Karewas especially is not only Environmental Loss but a huge Economic Loss to J&K which amounts to thousands of Crores in last 5 to 6 years ? I appreciate Asst Engineer PHE Div Chadoora Shahid Manzoor for leading this team in a massive snow bound area of upper Yusmarg side for two days and restoring drinking water supply in two dozen villages of Chadoora sub division. Casual Employees of PHE Deptt who are paid mere Rs 9000 PM play a great role.
