This is India's most advanced electric tactical vehicle, VEER. The company behind it, Pravaig Dynamics (Pravaig Dynamics), has come a long way. They began R&D in 2011 and rose to prominence in 2020 when they unveiled a concept car, Extinction MK1. Today, six years later, the company's order book is extensive. Defence customers are very keen to add Pravaig's indigenously developed and manufactured flagship EV to their fleets. The Pravaig VEER features: - Infrared driving lights with thermal imaging - 95.6 kWh in-house-manufactured battery - A flex-fuel generator for hybrid driving - Low acoustic and thermal signature - Detachable doors and windscreens - 600 mm water-wading capacity - 260 mm ground clearance - Regenerative braking - 120 km/h top speed - 0–100 km/h in 6.1s - 500+ km of range - 620 Nm of torque - Stealth mode - Airlift hooks We visited Pravaig's manufacturing facility in Bengaluru to test the VEER out and see how they're building it right here in India.

India has some of the most polluted air in the world. According to IQAir, 29 of the world’s 50 cities with the worst air pollution are in India. But India's factories are so, so much worse. Delhi's PM2.5 on a bad day: ~1,000 A poorly-optimised Indian steel factory's PM2.5 on an average day: ~100,000 These factories have hundreds of kilos of dust floating through their shop floor at any given moment. That's why Mumbai-based Praan (Praan Inc) is more than just an air purification company. They're a revenue reclamation company too. Through their patent-pending filterless technology, Praan is able to capture and store particles in a collection chamber without changing their chemical composition. This enables their customers to reuse dust as raw material. We visited Praan's Mumbai production facility to see how Angad Daryani and team are building world-class air purification systems from Mumbai, for India and the world.

Most large businesses in India use a mix of filters and chemicals to treat wastewater. Billions of litres undergo treatment every day before being discharged back into India's rivers and groundwater. A Maharashtra-based company, Indra (Indra Water), has patented an alternative solution that allows industries to recycle water instead of dumping it. Their line of electrochemical reactors, called ElectroX, use non-contact micro-electrolysis to purify and recycle water so that it can be reused for things like flushing toilets, irrigation and gardening, cleaning, cooling towers, HVAC, boilers, and industrial processes across textiles, metals, and pharma. Indra's ElectroX reactors are now being used across India, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and they plan to continue their global expansion in the coming months and years. Here's how they're making it all possible from their factory in Thane.
