Fig lets Talbott's jab fall just short and spins him around with a kick A moment later, Talbott steps in with a jab and pauses for a beat, drawing out the kick, before slamming his right hand into Fig's jaw as he's on one leg

Belal sneaks in a head kick after his lead hook has missed Since his hips and shoulders have already rotated throwing the punch and the kick trails in behind, it's very difficult to see coming, without the usual tell of a head kick

One thing that's kinda neat about Tsarukyan is that his incredible flexibility and athleticism lets him kick hard and not worry too much about them getting caught.

The lead leg headkicks were a clever look from Gaethje. Ilia never counters these and whenever he threw it, Ilia would have to keep his right hand pinned at his head, giving Gaethje time and space to circle away

Gaethje's hands are so hard that he kept snapping Topuria's head back and busting up his face with a little swatting jab, thrown with very little power and not even landing on the big knuckles The quick release and downward trajectory made it difficult for Ilia to get outside or underneath it

Ilia beating Oliveira's leg kicks with his jab Hard to ask too much of Oliveira given how quick Ilia did him, but I was disappointed all his kicks in this fight came off his rear leg His lead leg had more potential to threaten Ilia's entries/level changes

One thing I appreciated about Patricio's performance against Choi is that he made sure to feint back whenever Choi tried to feint him out at range He'd show a counter without committing too hard and exposing himself or use a few feints/throaways punches to take space It told Choi that even his feints weren't safe and made it harder for him to gauge distance effectively. After Patricio landed a few good punches, his feints became more threatening, and he was drawing Choi into ill-advised entries off the backfoot
