It is the honor of my life to be nominated by Donald J. Trump for ONDCP ‘Drug Czar’ It was also a blessing Wednesday to be standing alongside the Angel Families - who have lost their loved ones to this Fentanyl scourge. What makes these moms, dads, brothers, sisters and other family members so remarkable is that they continue to fight to save us and our children from a similar tragic fate. They have found a way to turn their grief into a tool for good - to not only honor their child - but to fight for ours. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. And thank you DJT for the HALT Fentanyl Act - which makes illicit fentanyl related substances a schedule 1 drug and anyone caught trafficking these substances will receive a mandatory 10 year minimum prison sentence. This is a formidable weapon against the cartels and their dealers. I look forward to my confirmation and standing alongside our great Angel families to save lives. There are more of us than there are of them.. thousands are gathering in support of Israel here in NYC but there are just so many police for the pro-Israel rally that it’s insane. I’ve never seen this many police during the pro- Hamas rally- but there is concern it could escalate
