What made this attack interesting is this is now the first instance of seeing Russia deploy EW countermeasures on freight rail going through the area. For some reason they continue not to utilize the armored trains which the Russian ministry of defense have designed to do this exact job. It seems they are still afraid of actually using and losing their armored trains. The Russians have also put a flat car back in front of the lead locomotive to absorb any mines and IEDs on the tracks which has been a while since we've seen this.
