Two years ago this EF-4 tornado went on a temper tantrum just outside of Omaha. For reference, I'm filming this from within the city limits of Omaha in this clip. That's how close we were to a generational disaster. Nobody died in this tornado. 4.26.2024 - Elkhorn, NE

Three years ago was the most insane tornado evolution I have ever seen. A cone tornado chews up unplanted farmland, taking on a dirty barrel shape before the collar cloud sinks into a mile-wide tornado. These four clips happened over about 10 minutes. 3.31.2023 - Hedrick, IA

The life cycle of the Mound City tornado, timelapsed. As the first tornado became shrouded in rain, the storm briefly handed off into a new tornado, but failed. The new tornado dissipated, and the original one was slung north back into the old mesocyclone. NWS Aberdeen
