Want to know why the 4-26-2026 Foraker, Oklahoma #tornado... went from an established "hog/ potential long track tornado" to POOF in a matter of seconds? After diving deep into my drone & 360 video it became fairly obvious as to what happened. If you watch this video close, you can see a sudden burst of what initially looks like outflow blowing out and away from the tornado as it simultaneously collapses the lower vortex. I know you're probably asking yourself, "why would this be outflow", and its a great question. The answer is, its not. What I believe is happening here is the mesocyclone is beginning to "handoff" to the new meso north. (aka the twin tornado). The RFD surge on the fully condensed tornado ends up getting pulled into the one to the north completely undercutting it. (as seen in the video). Where have we seen this before?? Funny coincidence, on the April 26, 2024 (yes same exact day two years prior) tornado outbreak across Nebraska and Iowa, you could see this exact thing happen with the Lincoln tornado as it handed off to what turned into the Waverly tornado to the north. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day feature the most impressive... severe thunderstorm setup I’ve seen along the California coastline in at least a decade. The first round of isolated severe thunderstorms will come ashore tonight, bringing the threat of a isolated tornado and severe wind gusts over 60 mph from the Central Coast up to Humboldt County. The severe weather threat then expands into the Central Valley during the afternoon, California’s tornado alley, with the potential for isolated tornadoes, damaging winds, and even large hail. The threat then shifts south into Southern California tomorrow, where isolated severe wind gusts and a brief tornado will be possible. However, Christmas Eve into Christmas morning features the most potent severe weather environment of the week and could lead to a severe thunderstorm outbreak along the coastline from the Central Coast up to the North Coast. The combination of strong low-level and deep-layer shear with sufficient instability is rarely seen in this part of the world. I seriously cannot recall seeing Significant Tornado Parameter (STP) values exceed 3 along the California coastline. The peak threat window appears to be from 10 PM Thursday to 8 AM Friday. It would not be out of the question to see a Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued Christmas Eve night with the potential for a couple tornadoes and scattered severe wind gusts. Years ago, there was a tornado in my town.... I didn’t know anything was happening; I was watching Netflix when my mom’s best friend called me, asking if I was safe. I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw a metal lawn chair fly past my window just as she was telling me I needed to go down to the basement. I ran around the house like a crazy person collecting my animals. Grabbed my cat, stuffed all four of my chinchillas into a single shoebox, and called my dog to follow me. ⛈️ The storm I witnessed yesterday near Clarendon, Texas,... is hands down one of the most incredible ones I’ve ever seen! Those bright blue bands were so vibrant. I haven’t seen such bright blue banding like that since a hail storm in Iowa in 2022. The blue hues are caused by the scattering of sunlight by ice crystals and water droplets high in the storm clouds, especially during the “golden hour” when the sun’s angle enhances those vibrant colors. I’d trade nearly any tornado I’ve seen in the past two years for this—honestly, I could care less about tornadoes. I just want to see the coolest or most interesting thing out there. They are always softball interviews but his 2022 interview with Biden was particularly pathetic. Inflation was just off of a 40 year high. Just about an hour ago, I pitched the same business to the same particular organization, and the chairperson said, “Spirit, let’s get to work immediately on this; this is a big one.” What changed three years ago vs. today? ♟️Audience. 5 years ago I booked an air bnb with... my friends on our girls trip. My bedroom was facing the Burj Khalifa and the water fountains. I woke up at 1pm, looked outside the window and saw the water fountains going on, sun shining into it and creating a beautiful rainbow. While the US finally had a break from tornadoes,... it was CANADA that surprised many when it dropped a wedge tornado near Shoal Lake, Manitoba yesterday evening. In this radar loop, you can see where this tornado's origins came from starting with the outflow boundary (the line of weak reflectivity values the storm pops out from to the east of the radar site). Outflow boundaries concentrate extreme low-level rotation and force rapid upward motion, such that when supercells interact with these boundaries, the pre-existing spin can be stretched into tornadoes. These can happen super fast, and it remains something we don't fully understand. In the span of 30 minutes, we went from there being no discernible storm to there being a wedge on the ground, without a mesocyclone or a nudger. What is even more amazing is that despite Canada's radars being lower-resolution compared to what we have in the US, you can still quite clearly see the hook echo and the eventual debris ball that forms on reflectivity. Luckily, no injuries or fatalities have been confirmed from this tornado at this time.show more

The fifth landing attempt and the first one following the first successful RTLS a month before. We didn't get this video until the day after launch. This was the point where I really got interested into spaceflight as a whole. Yesterday FSD nearly drove into the concrete jersey barrier on hwy 17 as I was traveling to Santa Cruz California. I intervened a fraction of a second before impact. Slap bang in the middle of a new-build development in The Ponds area near the city of Quakers Hill, the Zammits have indicated they cannot put a price on their beloved home. It’s a stark contrast to the adjacent rows of newly constructed houses that surround their longtime property. Their neighbors have praised their resilience as they enjoy the cul-de-sacs that this in-the-middle property creates by staying put, rather than having a typical through street. “The fact that most people sold out years and years ago, these guys have held on. All credit to them,” Taylor Bredin, an agent with Ray White Quakers Hill, told the outlet. Bredin estimated that the land could accommodate up to 50 houses, with each subdivided 3,200-square-foot block potentially fetching a million dollars each.
