Staff said the project could drive more than 14% of Brazos Valley population growth over the next decade and will strain roads and infrastructure. Per Councilman Bob Yancy, "My assessment here is this is going to be the game of the century with real-world consequences that none of us could possibly anticipate... And that’s why we got to work better together and double down on how to meet this challenge head-on." Per Chief Development Officer Michael Ostrowski, "The lots and the multifamily that are currently either active or in the pipeline should meet the capacity needs of what we will see within the City of College Station..." NEURALINK: CJ suffered a spinal cord injury and is ventilator-dependent. A few months ago, he was selected for the Neuralink PRIME Study at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. He recently underwent N1 implant surgery. at the University of Miami's Miller School of Medicine, with Neuralink co-investigator Dr. Michael E. Ivan, UoM Associate Professor of at the Miller School of Medicine Neurological Surgery and The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. Per CJ, "In addition to being a stellar neurosurgeon, Dr. Ivan is really quite hilarious. Totally put me at ease even knowing that I was about to get a hole put in my head and wake up a cyborg!" Right after surgery in the hospital, Neuralink Software Engineer Natalie Cygan stopped by his room, set up the Neuralink laptop, showed the brain waves, and gave his wife her personal cell number for future questions. Per CJ, "Shortly after my surgery, a Neuralink engineer stopped by my hospital room to show my wife my brain waves. For the purpose of future arguments, Sweetie, this proves once and for all that I do have a brain..." A day or two later at home, Neuralink's Sehej Bindra visited to assist with the N1 implant setup and training. CJ reached 6.23 BPS on WebGrid according to Sehej and they celebrated the success. Sehej is the the brainchild behind SimpleCell, a platform to integrate and streamline the bioinformatics research. Per CJ, "Sehej is awesome. Came to my house three days straight to train me on my N1 and still meets with me virtually." At his 1-month post-op visit, Dr. Ivan confirmed the surgery healed and the N1 implant was in the right place. The CT scan above shows how the implant looks in his skull. CJ called the clinical trial very encouraging because participants recovered tremendous respiratory function and the work of weaning from the ventilator helps keep motor neurons alive. If I had to guess, there are between 190 and 200 cabs in Houston. I counted around 15 charging and some inside the Tesla Hempstead Center. STARLINK: British Airways has revealed that its first aircraft fitted with Starlink is a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with registration G-ZBJJ. It is currently in flight as BA197 from London Heathrow to Houston, Texas; the first BA commercial flight with Starlink! It departed London around 3:25 p.m. GMT, and should arrive in Houston around 9 p.m. CST. Per British Airways CEO Sean Doyle, "The roll out of Starlink is making excellent progress... This is a complex and highly-skilled upgrade to our fleet, and I want to thank all our teams who are working hard to make this possible. I know our customers will be looking forward to using this service soon." Kudos to BA making the service free for all passengers in every cabin. Starlink is complimentary, gate-to-gate, with no extra charges for streaming, working, or connecting on multiple devices.

The service enables standard LTE smartphones to connect directly to Starlink's constellation to provide text messaging, voice, data, and internet-of-things services in remote, underserved, or no-coverage areas without requiring additional hardware or apps. A ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement signing was witnessed by Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the initiative supports digital inclusion under the theme "Every Filipino Connected" and aims for commercial availability starting in March 2026. SpaceX's Starlink Sr Partnership Manager, Damien Innes, represented the company and signed the agreement.
