STARLINK: SpaceX Starlink Government & Enterprise for Latin America and the Caribbean, Juan David Vélez (Juan David Vélez); and Starlink Sr. Director of Market Development, Jonathan Kleinman (Jonathan Kleinman), presented a comprehensive connectivity proposal to Honduras President Nasry Asfura. STARLINK: British Airways has revealed that its first aircraft fitted with Starlink is a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with registration G-ZBJJ. It is currently in flight as BA197 from London Heathrow to Houston, Texas; the first BA commercial flight with Starlink! It departed London around 3:25 p.m. GMT, and should arrive in Houston around 9 p.m. CST. Per British Airways CEO Sean Doyle, "The roll out of Starlink is making excellent progress... This is a complex and highly-skilled upgrade to our fleet, and I want to thank all our teams who are working hard to make this possible. I know our customers will be looking forward to using this service soon." Kudos to BA making the service free for all passengers in every cabin. Starlink is complimentary, gate-to-gate, with no extra charges for streaming, working, or connecting on multiple devices.

STARLINK NEWS: Globe Telecom has partnered with SpaceX to introduce Starlink Direct-to-Cell (DTC) in the Philippines, marking the first deployment of this technology in Southeast Asia and the second in Asia. The service enables standard LTE smartphones to connect directly to Starlink's constellation to provide text messaging, voice, data, and internet-of-things services in remote, underserved, or no-coverage areas without requiring additional hardware or apps. A ceremonial Memorandum of Agreement signing was witnessed by Philippines President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the initiative supports digital inclusion under the theme "Every Filipino Connected" and aims for commercial availability starting in March 2026. SpaceX's Starlink Sr Partnership Manager, Damien Innes, represented the company and signed the agreement.

The footage shows the antenna effectively melting snow during active snowfall, with a thermal camera overlay highlighting heat distribution and snow clearance performance.

SPACEX: I visited Pecan Island in Louisiana's Vermilion Parish. The 136,000-acre site, owned by ExxonMobil and Vermilion Corporation, is under consideration by SpaceX for their next spaceport. Vermilion Corporation owns an unused dock on Freshwater Bayou at the mouth of the Gulf of America. This location would allow SpaceX to barge Super Heavy Boosters and Starships from Starbase. Farther north lies the Freshwater City public boat ramp and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Freshwater Lock, which connects to the Intracoastal Waterway. I flew over the area closest to the port. The land appears stable. Note that the full 212-square-mile site extends across the entire area visible east of the port
