Created an overlay for Armored Core 6 so it appears that I am actually piloting the mech. Chat can radio in to provide support, and the transmission distorts upon death.

I made a stream overlay that shows viewers leaving the stream when they get bored. If a viewer becomes an inactive chatter, they literally walk off screen. This may be the most demoralizing stream overlay I've ever created.

This vtuber is a talking bong. They set up their overlay so the game characters are textured with weed and hotdogs. What else is there to say? Weed.

This is one of the most unique stream overlays I've ever seen. It's made entire up of real hardware CRTs, with a camera pointing toward them. It lets the streamer "pop out" of the overlay. Incredible retro vibes.

I went farther back in time, and made a stream overlay that put us in caveman times. The gameplay and vtuber model show up as shadows on the cave wall, just like how they used to game.

I made an overlay that turns my stream into an FPS. It's controlled by the mouse and supports zooming in. Chat can try and shoot me off the screen. Thankfully they have terrible aim.

This streamer has one of the most astonishing 3D vtuber models. It's done completely in 3D, but looks like a realistic moving puppet from a kids show. It has such expressive animations and a unique movement style. They even modeled a controller for gaming streams.

Elgato sent me a a Stream Deck with a functioning LEVER attached. You can crank it to control the stream. I immediately set up a trap door for Twitch Chat, which opens any time I pull the lever. This is actually so satisfying to use.

I put Twitch Chat on treadmills and made them power the stream. The faster they spammed the chat, the faster they ran. The faster they ran, the higher the stream quality.

I turned my Twitch Chat into a surveillance state. I perform Lurker Checks at random times, where I randomly select a viewer and see if they have chatted. If they have not chat, they are exploded. The chat panopticon has become real.

Created a stream overlay for Helldivers 2 that makes it look like I'm streaming from inside the suit helmet. Chat plays the role of HQ through TTS chat messages. HQ comms also has their own scene, and has UI inside the helmet.

Imagine if you could hear Twitch Chat backseating your gameplay. I set up a text-to-speech system to make chat sound like random hecklers yelling at the stream. Each message is read out and panned left or right, for an maximum immersive heckling.

This vtuber has an amazing Sailor Moon inspired style. Their model can transform into a magical girl with a retro-inspired animation. Each of their expressions are hand drawn and frame animated. Their stream really looks like a 90s anime.

This cartoon-style vtuber has the most incredible details I've seen. The line art on their model is constantly moving for a "live sketch" effect. The circuits on their legs also light up with voice. Their entire overlay and theme is so colorful, and fits perfectly together.

Imagine if you could hear everyone in Twitch Chat talk at once. I updated my text-to-speech system to simulate being in a room with chat, and everyone is trying to speak at once. Perfect for viewers to backseat gameplay. The chaos strangely helps me focus.

I'm obsessed with this streamer's cardboard theater aesthetic. Rata Pirata has a vtuber avatar that's a cardbaord cutout on the stick. It even tilts to the side to emphasize the thin 2D cardboard effect. One of the most cohesive stream aesthetics out there.

I made a stream overlay that lets Twitch chat draw my new vtuber into existence. Each time they tap a section on the screen, they sketch out more of the vtuber. After being fully colored, the model pops out of the paper and comes to life.

I made a stream overlay for Death Stranding that tilts left and right, and chat must spam L and R to balance the stream. Inspired by the game mechanic where Sam can trip and you have to grip the controller for balance.

This vtuber was once a history professor, and recently did a history lecture on stream. It's really cool to all types of knowledge being shared through the vtuber community. Imagine if more educators were vtubers. Perhaps this is the future of educational content.

This vtuber created an interactive game world that runs their stream. Alerts can swirl around their character. They can walk and jump around the map like a game character. Most importantly, they have a sit animation. The art style evokes a dark but comforting feeling.

This streamer's overlay made my brain explode. A living and breathing world, with a huge amount of custom redeems. They basically redraw their character to make sure its cohesive with every scene. That is dedication. This showcases what is truly possible with livestreaming.
