The US government holds 8,133 metric tons of gold. It's carried on the federal books at $42 per ounce. That price was set in 1973 and has never been updated. Gold trades at $4,500 today. If the US military adopts Bitcoin to protect dollar sovereignty, Bitcoin wins. If adversaries adopt Bitcoin because the dollar is weaponized against them, Bitcoin wins. There is no version of this where Bitcoin loses. The only variable is how early you are.
