visionOS is just too beautiful to be just kept to Vision Pro…so we brought it to real life. It’s always so much fun to do these. I can’t get enough of how satisfying frosted glass Interfaces look in real life. It was quite complicated to rebuild AuraTap in the real world, especially with it having multiple overlapping layers. But It was totally worth it.

If you have a Vision Pro I highly recommend watching the new Apple TV Show "Pluribus" in cinema mode – it’s 21:9, which makes for a very immersive experience in front row. I set my expectations extremely high since it’s from the genius behind Breaking Bad, Vince Gilligan. Yet the first two episodes still managed to surpass them, which is crazy to me. Pluribus grabs you from the very first second, blending sharp satire with a unique, refreshing atmosphere. It dives into a fascinating thought experiment that I simply can’t get enough of.

I love how Apple always makes their invitations so original. This year’s is even interactive — especially cool on Vision Pro.

You can say what you want about the current Vision Pro hardware, but you won’t change my mind: Personas are the future of telecommunication. They’re resistant to catfishing, always safe for work, and hit a perfect sweet spot: you’re not forced to turn on a camera if you’re uncomfortable, but you still get far more emotion and presence than just voice. With them you always look good, have perfect lighting, and have full control over the background. Over the past year I’ve met over 100 new people with whom I played games, watched movies, worked, and just hung out, always having far more fun than I’ve ever had on a traditional video call.

The making of the environments in Vision Pro is super fascinating. For Mount Hood they actually stitched together two completely different places into one scene, which is crazy to me since it looks so seamless in the device. The level of craft here is something else. Read more here:

Experiencing concerts has changed forever—and Metallica just showed me how. Seriously, do yourself a favor and book a demo at your nearest Apple Store to watch this latest Apple immersive release on Vision Pro. It really is THAT good. While not everyone gets the chance to experience the magic of seeing legends like Metallica perform live on stage and feeling the electrifying energy of the crowd, this technology brings us as close as possible to making that experience accessible to many more people. No matter how much you may doubt this technology, after seeing this, it will be hard to deny that this could become a very common way to experience concerts in the future.

No more crooked screenshots on Vision Pro thanks to "Level Headed" — an app that perfectly demonstrates a feature I’ve been missing for a very long time: a viewfinder and level indicator that helps you capture perfectly framed screenshots and recordings of your current view. Sure, this might only be exciting if you create as many screen recordings as I do — but still, Apple, I need this built-in!
