Never underestimate the speed at which visionOS is evolving. Just three weeks later, with the latest beta, the Logitech Muse now supports almost any app and can be used for input across the entire system. I tested it with my favorite drawing app, TouchDesk, and it’s incredibly smooth –... show more

Love to see it in the hands of someone who can actually draw :)

Aw! 🫶

Now why would one want this over just an iPad with Apple Pencil? I’m no artist, but surely you’re going to get very bad colour skews depending on the lighting on the room/surface you draw on etc? So is it just for fun, or is there any practical use?

You’re not going to buy an Apple Vision Pro just for 2D drawing. I see it more as the cherry on top of a very large ice cream cone. The pen will be most useful for spatial drawings in a room – for example, annotations on 3D models, markings on walls for construction, or creating 3D art. But yes, I agree, for this one particular use case, it’s mostly about having fun (which is still a great use, by the way).

No issues with having fun at all. Just wondering what other uses it could have. Some great ones mentioned, even better if they could be loaded onto something like the meta glasses or whatever else we get AR wise so construction workers could use them easier.

not to sound too fanboyish but damn this is so much better than the Meta Quest and Galaxy XR

i was told there is no use for the vision pro ? /s

I have been told so too

Was this enabled in a recent update? I picked up the Muse a couple of weeks ago and it would only work with a couple of apps.

yup, completely different product now

Yeah still not worth 3500$

worth is always subjective

Yeah but a failure product is not.

@SpatiallyMe Just say you're not the target audience for a VR headset and move on.

@SpatiallyMe I'm not a target audience for any bad products. Actually I would probably go with something with Gemini built down the road.

@PSYCHOV3N0M @SpatiallyMe Once you get the Gemini dick out of your ass, come speak with the adults who actually enjoy a superior product.

@PSYCHOV3N0M @SpatiallyMe Lol Siri still from 2012 stay in the past.

That looks incredible. Will definitely check out. That feature of not touching the button to draw is critical. Would like a toggle like that for more use cases.

I thought the same thing! It’s also such a satisfying feeling to use it in mid-air with apps that float right in front of you.

Definitely, hand and pencil occlusion is key, it makes everything feel REAL. THIS IS THE FUTURE

mixed reality is so cool

Does it work with Freeform and Notes?

Yes, works perfectly!

i think i saw someone do it but seems like another idea would be to use it to map a sketch to larger scale work for murals

litterally unlimited possibilities!

This is amazing!

Pretty cool

Need this but with simple lightweight glasses. Can’t be wearing a construction headset all day bruh

@Amxquant only a matter of time

so cooooooooooool

Taken to the next level 👏

I cannot begin to explain just how exciting this is for my project. I am soon to promote the AVP to people that wouldn't otherwise understand it works for their business because it solves many issues. in their world, being able to telestrate and articulate on a shared drawing or video like John Madden is huge!!! As well, this opens up a new related niche in the broadcast and streaming universe. Keep'm coming bud! :)

I was looking forward to using a Vision Pro and the Logitech Muse. Went and bought the Vison Pro when visiting NYC. Amazing tech. When started setting it up with my Apple ID, it turns out that I don’t have access to the App Store from my region (India). With a sad heart, I had to return it. Apple needs to open these devices up to other countries.

It's Apple. No surprises there.

How easy is it to connect the Muse to the app?

Once the stylus is paired with your Vision Pro it actually just works everywhere, in any app.

Now to learn how to draw

Add a super intelligent siri with a realistic holographic avatar and Apple is back in business

Would had loved an Apple Pencil version so I can use it for my AVP and iPad but this means there is a great foundation for Apple to do so.

This is what I want out of a photo editing app. How you have your color panel and everything parsed out in your space. I want to be able to edit a photo and have my tools and film strip etc separated not just in a window. Muse looks amazing. Are you worried about it wearing down?

cool

Einfach nur toll!!! Incredible!!! I‘m overwhelmed!!!🥰👏👏👏

❤️

Wow, Incredible!🤩🤩

I got this and I didn’t work at all so I came back to this post and noticed that you need to update. It works really well everywhere especially the clicking button. You don’t have to do a pinched gesture anywhere you can have the pen in your hand and just tap it. It’s so convenient. But I also did try TouchDesk and it is a fun app. Even so, fantastic all over.

Can you draw on a remote Mac app? So like draw in photoshop that’s streaming from your Mac? Is there pressure sensitivity?

No you can’t yet but yes it has pressure sensitivity.

@theo

The 65 people using it must be so excited

All of that money and tech to replace pen and paper

Can't wait to buy it... on like gen 5 or something

Imagine scratching the fuck out of your pristine walnut desk while drawing dogshit cartoons with dogshit brown background that can’t be changed lmao
