I’m not done my iPhone 16 Pro review yet but one thing is undeniable: the last two years have been incredible upgrades for professional creatives ProRes, Apple LOG, improved ProRaw DNGs, 4K 120, USB C for mics & storage, fast charging, battery life, photo styles…

Heard some numbers to clarify how The Verge is wishing the death of Twitter rather than reporting it. Gabe at Techmeme says tech news tweets are down 30% from 2020 We all know the community here is in worse shape but its a far cry from the wasteland described on Vergecast

I appreciate that they’re not speeding up these Siri AI demos. Still not as good as live on stage but more realistic

Did you know when you update your iPhone, AirPods now work as wireless mic? No third plugins or apps required, it works directly with the camera app (including voice isolation)

Anyone else listen to the recent Vergecast and think they’re way off base? I have great conversations here all the time, top tech YouTubers are here, industry insiders, it’s still a powerful resource. But The Verge describe it as nearly “full dead” expect for a few “jackasses” that are “the worst”? I get that the platform is in bad shape, it probably is on a slow decline, but my experience is still that most people on here are really chill and helpful. Their take just seems completely disconnected from reality.
