honesy, it’s a crime we got so little of jonny as fiyercrow. you can tell how hard he worked to find such a unique way of moving. he put his heart and soul into this character and he deserved so much more screentime. if the final cut had given +

“no, i am not seasick…” “neither am i” “no, i did not eat grass as a child…” “oh, you didn’t? i did” “and yes, i have always been green” “and the defensiveness, is that a recent development?” the way fiyeraba INVENTED FLIRTING 😌💙

the chaos of this scene is EVERYTHING!! not fiyero seeing elphaba for half a second after all that time, and straight into “i’m not spending another minute without you, ✨😔 sorry 😔✨” i live for the drama 😭😭

my favorite part of this scene is definitely the catch in elphaba’s voice and her tear-filled eyes as she stifles a smile and tells fiyero, “it’s not lying”. he responds with his own nervous laugh, a mix of awkwardness and + 1/4

i hate the fact that performances as complete and extraordinary as cynthia erivo’s as elphaba thropp exist, capable of closing a film the way she did with defying gravity, giving cinema one of its most powerful endings ever, and +

“the moment when they discover each other again, and she reiterates the words that he said to her, i think it’s such a tender moment that she gets to share. NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE NOTED THAT MOMENT…” CYNTHIA HONEY, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO YOU’RE TALKING TO 😭😭

this #fiyeraba scene is so important for the development of the plot and characters, as well as being incredibly tender to watch. i will never accept the fact that it was cut from the final edit of wicked (2024). the chemistry between fiyero and + 1/5

this scene is so beautiful!! i wish i could’ve seen this on the big screen, just drowning in tears. it’s such a shame it was cut. the no place like home reprise is so nostalgic and powerful!! returning to a house that never truly welcomed her, elphaba +

jonathan bailey on his chemistry with cynthia erivo during alaym 💚🩵: “cynthia didn’t just hold me up throughout that performance, but the whole audience as well. it’s a great privilege just to sit and kneel in front of her while she sings in your face.”
