Today’s Episode on being a prayerful full-house husband who takes care of the home. Yesterday, while my wife was trekking 15 miles home from work, she suddenly developed a running stomach. Before she knew it, she pooed on her gown. And because provision is her shield and I would starve if she doesn’t drop money for food, she left it for me to wash and I washed it. Maybe because it was already cold by the time she got home, I didn’t really enjoy the Jendol’s bread she bought yesterday. And I don’t want to call her to buy Bokku bread and Suya on her way back from work. Now, I have to rack my brains for what we have to eat for dinner, unlike my wife that’s simply just dealing with clients and pressures for deadlines. This thinking of what to cook, putting clothes in the washing machine, cleaning the house and actually taking care of the home remains the most difficult job on earth. I’m also beginning to feel dissatisfied with my provider wife, and even she provides for this home I don’t praise her for it because that’s the bare minimum. I don’t like that she’s not driven enough!!! Her mates are getting promoted at work every year but she’s remained in the same spot for 3 years. I’m sure my feelings are valid. It’s really not easy being the backbone of my successful wife. I pray for her, give her advice, take care of the home and make myself available to have a lot of sex with her. We full-time husbands who do the most difficult job on earth will someday get the praise we actually deserve for taking care of the home.

I remember working in McDonald’s and having a manager I was older than and more educated than. Bu virtue of the position she held, I got my breaks and most instructions from her. The interesting thing about this manager was that she was quite reasonable and led by example (assisting with duties). I understood that as my manger I had to defer to her on anything that had to do with the job. I also had other managers on the same job who were older but highly unreasonable and vicious. Yet, I still deferred to those managers. My point is simple… No matter who and what your husband is, he is, by virtue of the divine order and societal expectations, your head and you must defer to him on all things. That’s why before you say yes, objectively ask yourself whether you’re willing and able to submit to this human being on all things. If your answer is no, do not get bother getting married. Hopefully, you choose a reasonable person to do life with or not!!!

My wife woke up with a terrible headache and was contemplating calling in sick. I was like call in sick for what now?! I reminded her that provision is her shield in this marriage and that if she loses this job, I’d be left with no option but to disrespect and beat her because I’m wired to beat a woman who doesn’t provide.
