Re-upping my story from last month on how Manipur today sits on a dangerous stockpile of sophisticated weapons and explosives, with thousands of arms still believed to be in the hands of insurgent and armed groups across the state. My anti-junta sources in Myanmar had also detailed how weapons continue to be smuggled into Manipur from across the border .. Chinese, Russian, American-origin, factory-made, modified, improvised, and everything in between. The Indian Army, Assam Rifles and Manipur Police are doing a remarkable job arresting militants and recovering weapons under extremely difficult circumstances ... often without a single bullet fired or bloodshed

I don't know anything, but these visuals give me so much hope. Shayad hum bhi, as journalists, thode hopeless hone lage the. Par kahin na kahin accha lag raha hai dekhkar ki khoon abhi poora paani nahi hua hai. Pata hai raaton raat sab theek nahi hoga, hume hi dheere dheere karke karna padega. Par abhi ke liye ye dekhke dil se accha lag raha hai kyunki ye jo log stage ke neeche barish me bhi khade hain, in logon ki neeyat saaf hai. And God bless them. Let's make India a better place. I'm crying while writing this. Hum sab journalists ko bhi dande pade hain. Kyunki maarte waqt police dekh hi nahi rahi thi. Delhi Police is lying. I saw protestors being beaten with full force and so much hate right in front of my eyes. Hum sabne dekha hai. Today will never be forgotten. And after this, I have no sympathy left for any godi media reporter, anchor, or whoever the fuck. I want to scream this...desh ki is haalat mein tum log sabse bade zimmedar ho. Aaj tumhara din hai toh jee lo, par sabka din aata hai. Aur ulti ginti ab shuru ho gayi hai.

Families are telling me that the names of their loved ones who died in the Red Fort blast are not even on the official list of the dead. They were called to the hospital, made to identify the bodies & then told to take them home on their own. Hospital is not providing ambulances.

Sir, Manipur's gang rape survivors say "hi." Exactly three years ago, in July 2023, similar promises of "justice" were made to them in Parliament. Today, in July 2026, forget justice or convictions...there have barely been any arrests in the Manipur naked parade sexual assault case. The govt even stopped paying for their counselling. Even today, Manipur continues to burn, yet former BJP CM Biren Singh...under whose tenure the state was divided in two and descended into a conflict that killed hundreds, including sokdiers, and displaced thousands..has never faced any action from the BJP. How does the public believe you and your words anymore, sir?

Jaanwar se badtar haalat mein hazaaron log Manipur ke relief camps mein rehne majboor hain. Meiteis aur Kukis dono hi. Request all of you to take out 5 minutes and see my report from #Manipur. People are living in beyond inhumane conditions .. they’re dying. The least we can do is know their stories. Over 58,000 internally displaced people, as I write this .. acc to official government data ..are living in over 200 relief camps across the state. And Mr PM, while you’re in the neighbouring state playing football with children, people in Manipur are sleeping on pavements meant for vegetable and fish vendors, living next to drains and gutters. Girls can’t even step out at night to use the toilets because they’re afraid they’ll be RAPED or KILLED. Because this is happening with girls inside relief camps...it’s just not all coming out in the news. And this is not for a day. Not for a week. This has been their life for three years. I repeat ..THREE YEARS. I challenge you, or any of your ministers, to come and live in these camps for 24 hours. If you can survive it, I will stop reporting from Manipur. Don’t shoot the messenger, sir. As a journalist on the ground, this is our job ...to show you this and request you, with folded hands, to please help those living in relief camps. Get them out of there. Give them humane conditions. At the very least. You can do it. You know you can. When you were supposed to come to Manipur, roads were built overnight...so why have relief camps taken three years? Why can’t the government ensure basic dignity for people who have already lost everything in a conflict they had no role in?

No JUSTICE in cases..be it gang rapes or brutal killings. Unlimited heavy ARMS,AUTO ASSAULT weapons with INSURGENTS, armed groups & militias on all sides & no clear POLITICAL roadmap. #Manipur is extremely dangerous & a complete mess. Children, women, soldiers dying for last 3yrs
