On the front line, kamikaze drones are among the most feared threats. They strike without warning, regularly destroying vehicles and targeting any movement. Yet despite the constant danger and the risk of losing their lives, every Ukrainian soldier continues to hold their position. With determination, composure, and unwavering courage, they fight until the very last second to defend their land and shoot down the drones that hunt them. Their daily resistance stands as a powerful testament to their strength and dedication to their country.

I simply want to remind people that I serve in the Marines of the 37th Brigade in Ukraine. I enlisted for freedom, for honor, and for love. It has been my dream since I was six years old. Today, many men are fighting on the front line. Some are Ukrainians, others are volunteers from different countries. Coming here to fight is not about ego. It is not about recognition, medals, diplomas, or thanks. True commitment means being able to stay in the shadows, in the middle of hell and in the worst moments. It means being ready to sacrifice your life for something greater than yourself. I have almost died so many times that I have stopped counting. But I am never alone. By my side are my brothers in arms. Today we work more than twenty hours a day. We repair drones, we fly them, we hold our positions, and we simply protect the sky to save lives. That is what matters most. That is the greatest honor. Here, nobody measures who has the best status, the best diplomas, or the most medals. All of that is just material things. When you stand face to face with death and survival is all that matters, only one thing remains: the brothers standing beside you. And maybe that is the greatest gift of my life — finding a true family. A family united by a common purpose: working together for victory.

I do not know your face. I do not know your voice. I do not know your laughter, the way you walked, or what music you listened to when the silence became too heavy. And yet, I cry for you. Sati. Your name passed through me without warning, as if something in me recognized something in you. This is not a logical pain. It is not a pain that needs proof, shared memories, or photographs. It is a pain born in a deeper, older place — where choice lives. You chose to fight. And I recognize that choice. I feel it in my body, in my tears, in this strange tightness in my chest that needs no explanation. There are bonds that do not pass through words, blood, or time spent together. There are bonds that are born when human beings stand shoulder to shoulder before something greater than themselves. You were a sister-in-arms. Even without knowing me. Even without seeing me. Because being a sister does not mean sharing a childhood. It means sharing a decision. The decision not to look away. The decision to stay. The decision to fight. Yes, it hurts. It hurts to lose someone I never met. But this pain is proof that the bond exists. That it is real. That it is stronger than borders, languages, and faces. I cry because a human being who stood upright has fallen. I cry because a woman held her position to the very end. I cry because the world is a little emptier without your light and your courage. And now I know why this pain returns again and again — with other names, other unfamiliar faces. It is not weakness. It is the mark left by unity. By the quiet, invisible brotherhood and sisterhood of those who chose to fight. Rest in peace, Sati. You were not alone. You never were.

My name's Ania Natalia Zubko I m from Poland and Ukraine. I was living in Belgium, I was adopted and after 26 years I found all my biological family and discovered recently that my grand father was ukrainian. I began the humanitarian help since my childhood, and during the floods in Belgium, with friends we rebuild more than 3000 houses. I saw the strength of social media for help each others. Was miraculous ! When the war beginning, some people ask me to help and simply I went. When I was 6 years old, I slept on the ground and trained every day to become a soldier, a vocation I had as a little girl, I prayed to the Lord every day. But I never imagined, 2 years ago when I met my lover who is Ukrainian and is in the artillery that today I would be in the ukrainian Marines in the same brigade. I was the first foreigner to signed contract in ukrainian Marines. And currently, I am helping each of my brothers to obtain starlink, cars, generators, drones, REB and medical equipment including a medical container that has already saved more than 6,500 lives... I am proud of the education I received from my Belgium family's and it has been normal for me since I was little to help each other. Because I come from a large family of 8 children including 3 disabled brothers. I learned about difference, illness and war since I was a child. My best friend was a survivor of the massacres in Rwanda. To be here, in frontline, I was living 1 year in Kherson and the safari of hell of drones, ... and now in Donetsk with my brothers in arms. Support brigade 37 and glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦✊️Make the difference 🚑

I’m part of the air defense of the 37th Brigade, protecting the sky on the front line. We are currently heading toward Novopavlivka. I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve nearly died — from drones, missiles, and things you never imagine until you’re here. One of the strangest moments? Being stuck in a toilet while FPV drones were flying nearby, quietly praying not to die in such a way. War has a dark sense of humor. That’s also very Ukrainian: we keep our humor and our smiles, despite suffering, death, cold, and the brutal reality of a war that never stops. Russia will not choose peace. That’s why your support matters more than you know. I was born with one leg in Poland and adopted in Belgium. My grandfather is Ukrainian. My great-grandfather was captured by the Russians, survived, was repatriated, and lost his right leg. Since childhood, I dreamed of becoming a soldier. My brothers say it’s honor and blood — the legacy of our ancestors. I believe they’re right. I am a Cossack. We fight together for freedom — not by choice, but by duty and responsibility. To protect children. To protect families. Because in 2026, it is unacceptable to fight just to keep your land and sleep in peace. We love our drones flying toward Russian positions and destroying threats — not out of hatred, but to protect our lives. This is our daily reality, and we won’t pretend otherwise. Thank you to everyone defending Ukraine. Thank you to everyone defending Europe. 🫡🇺🇦
