ive been running the oneshot roguelite deckbuilder test for over a year now. here's astra's. relative to fable: - natively uses imagegen for art - builds a full three act structure plus three different characters / cardsets - is the first model to play and record its own demo after making the game is it a step change from fable? no, not really. it's pretty impressively cohesive and contentful but i think fable's showed noticeably more visual flare, despite the programatic sprites rather than generated images. but still it's... a lot, and i'm quite sure it could make massive improvements with small amounts of feedback, and it generated the images and published the game as a playable site i can share and recorded a demo of it playing it all in one shot. it's an extremely complete package. comparing this to what we had a year ago is truly fucking remarkable
