Almost got into an accident this afternoon while on FSD. FSD thought the FedEx truck would make its turn quicker. When it realized it couldn't, it tried to go around. At the same time, there was a car approaching in the right lane. I assume FSD calculated there was space for me in the right lane, but it really should have just slowed down. I had to slam on the brakes and steer the car to the left to avoid the driver side of my car clipping the trucks bumper. It was way too close for comfort. I have done tens of thousands of miles on FSD and have never had anything this close happen before.

I never check my sentry mode footage but last night I did. She scratched the paint a little. I thought it was going to be much worse when I watched the video. Sentry mode caught the plate, but it’s not worth filing a claim over, it would just be petty. Why can’t people just be more careful?
