Neil Patrick Harris reveals his $250,000 salary per episode nearly caused a cast revolt on How I Met Your Mother Howard Stern asked, "You made $250,000 an episode when it ended. Does everyone make $250,000 a week by the end?" Neil said, "Yeah, everyone made the same. That is that weird, nasty negotiation time around season four or five where everyone gathers internally to decide if we want to make our own deals or go unified as a cast." Howard said, "And isn't it weird when you have a cast where people want to go in together, and there is one holdout who says, 'Fuck you guys, I think I can do better on my own?' So the asshole was you?" Neil replied, "I wasn't an asshole. I just felt like we all had individual careers that we had nurtured up until that point. When you have an agent, a manager, and an attorney hardcore fighting for your financial future, to have solidarity with someone who has done less and benefits from being brought up... You're fighting for yourself in Hollywood. I wasn't trying to take someone else's money, I just wanted my team to fight as hard as they could for me." Howard asked, "Why did you eventually go in with all of them?" Neil said, "We were about to not have a ninth season, and we all got together for an extra season like a fantastic final lap. By season nine, I feel like everyone has proven their worth on the show, everyone is providing, and deserves to get paid well."

Charlie Sheen reveals the exact window of having sex with men where he contracted HIV "When people say sex with men, you immediately think of butt sex, and it wasn't that. The curiosity never happened without insane amounts of crack." "My best guess as to how I contracted HIV was probably in that pocket of time with the experimentation." "I don't really ever say that in the doc, but there's a reason in the book that it falls into that specific window chronologically." "I didn't have it before that, and then found out I had it right after that."

Ed O'Neill reveals Craig T. Nelson gambled and lost the biggest role in modern television history "They offered the part to Craig T. Nelson, not me. I read the script and thought, 'Oh no, I got to do this.' I called my manager and said, 'Mark, I think I have to do this.' And he said, 'Too late, it's out to Craig T. Nelson.' I said, 'Okay, well I'll watch it, it's going to be a good show.'" "A week later he called and said, 'They're back to you,' because Craig passed. Craig wanted some upfront money, like pay me for six and I'll do your one. He must have passed assuming they'd come back to him." "They said, 'They're back to you,' and I said, 'Make the deal.' He said, 'You're not the star.' I said, 'I know.' He said, 'They're not paying your quote.' I said, 'I don't care, it's a hit. We'll get even later and then we'll get ahead. And I was right."

Matt Damon reveals 1980s drug cartels intentionally crashed planes full of cocaine into the ocean as part of their smuggling operation "If you fly over Bimini, there are all these Cessnas underwater around the island." "Because what they used to do... they would come in with a plane full of drugs and just crash the plane into the water. They would land it on purpose." "On purpose?" "Because there's no runway! They would have 10 cigarette boats waiting, crash the plane, offload the drugs as the plane was sinking, and scatter." "And the coast guard goes after one of em and hopes they get the right one"
