At the Vista Theatre in Los Angeles, one of the last remaining theaters to project 70mm film, director Christopher Nolan told Scott Pelley he believes that movie theaters are here to stay and will be part of the future of cinema. “There's always been confusion about… the economics of the business,” Nolan said. “But the idea of the movie as a communal experience, as a place we come together to experience a story, I'm fully confident that that's a part of our culture forever.”
